Great summer biking shoes
These are what I was hoping for. Good sturdy shoe that keeps my feet in place and supported but also are great for summer. No socks needed and the air gets through. I have narrow fussy feet so the bike sandals just done work for me.

As good as I hoped – better than I expected
I can only comment on the fit and appearance of these so far. I haven’t had a chance to use them on the bike for more than a few miles. Depending on the manufacturer I can wear any size from 10 1/2 – 13. There seems to be no standards for shoe sizes. So it’s hard to buy shoes online because you never know if they will fit or not. The free return policy takes the risk out of this purchase. Another reviewer commented that these sandals fit his wide feet. I can say that they also fit my long narrow feet very good. You don’t want any movement inside your cycling shoes and the velcro straps allow a lot of adjustment for a good fit. The sole is stiff enough to transfer the power from your legs directly to the pedals. Biggest plus of all is how comfortable they are. I don’t expect to be doing much walking in these sandals but if I have to they are much more comfortable than my Keen (non cycling) sandals. And they look good too – no color choices but the black looks OK. If I can convince my wife to try ‘clipless’ I will get here a pair of these sandals too.

Cycling Sandal
I could have given 5 stars but I’ve not worn them long. I have wide feet and there are few shoe manufacturers that offer wide models. These are comfortable on and off the bike but I don’t walk far with cycling shoes. Three straps made a good fit possible. The heel strap was comfortable and high enough on the heel to stay put. I use SPD cleats and they were easy to install with a screw-on access cover. When dry the sandals gripped the rough edges of my dual sided pedals but when wet I couldn’t keep them on the pedals. One might keep that in mind if walking with the sandals in wet conditions. I wore out 3 pairs of Nashbar Ragster sandals and these are equal to them. I’ve never tried Keens or Shimano so I can’t compare to them but I like these sandals.

These work well.
I bought these in the same order as a set of Shimano SPD cleats. It was verystraightforward to install the cleats with an Allen wrench. Then I was off for a ride. The sandals are very sturdy and comfortable and seemed to work as well as regular biking shoes. Be careful when ordering to get the right size. I had to pull up several Amazon pages which seemed to load one page per size before I could order the right one.

Fit is great and stiff!
I had a pair of Keen cycling sandals and they were great for summer riding with the heat but always too narrow. Iâve been riding for over 25 years and happy feet are important on long rides! I need a wider toe box, but still need the stiffness if a cycle shoe. These have 4 adjustable straps: 3 across the foot and 1 behind the heel, so you can adjusts these to a perfect fit. The sole is one mold, meaning no separate sole to come loose. I wore these on a Club ride working a good pace (18-23 mph) and they felt like a shoe but breathed like a sandal. Great value, good quality!

Ok shoes for the money
These sandals are a decent value. For the price, they do an adequate job. I have wide feet and these sandals stretch ok to accommodate them. Better than any other cycling shoe I have tried.A couple of key points. If you are used to cycling shoes where you can put some sideways torque on the pedals, these sandals will feel a little weird to you. They are flexible and won’t handle that type of force.I rode my bike across Iowa and these shoes held up nicely. It was super hot and my feet got very sweaty. When they did, the friction seemed to go away and my foot moved around a lot more than I would have expected. I was also surprised at how much they held the smell. They are sandals and I was expecting that the airflow would help that. It took a really good scrubbing to get rid of the smell when I got home. I was also using some foot powder to help out with that on the ride. I got this black tar like substance at the end of the days that I used the powder.Off the bike, the shoes did fine. No real complaints. They were pretty comfortable.

Durable, safe and cool
I just bought my second pair of these shoes after wearing the first ones cycling for five years. I love them because my feet get hot and it makes me overheat all over. They’re also stylish.

I ride a recumbent trike, so I’ve always worn shoes that clip to the pedals. For 25 years, though, I’ve lamented that I had to wear socks and traditional closed shoes on hot days. These are fantastic!

I like these shoes although they are somewhat heavy. They also have fabric webbing across the top (between the velcro straps) so they aren’t as open as they appear.Nevertheless they are cooler than regular bike shoes so I wear them whenever possible.
