Could be stronger
This provides a nice massage that helps works out knots between the neck and shoulders. I wish the motors were slightly stronger as they seem to struggle against my blades. They should have a little extra juice. The portability is nice. I can’t imagine it lasting long as I hear the motor straining when I pull the straps down.

Does a decent job of massaging the neck and and can be repositioned up/down the back, too.
When I use this, I put my hands into the loops on each side, at the wrists, using the weight of my arms to keep the massage pressure on my neck while I lean back in my chair to relax. I have also put my hands into the loops, at the palms, and pushed away to keep pressure from this massager along the length of my back. This works well and is easy to use alone, without help from others when you want to relax. The heat mode is GREAT, as well, but does take about 30 seconds to heat up fully. The controls allow you to change the speed and direction of the massage points.

Does one thing really well…
While others have talked about putting this on different parts of your body, its pretty obvious that its really just designed to squeeze/pinch your shoulders up near your neck…and to be honest: it does that better than any other tool we have ever found. It literally does feel like human fingers kneading that flesh just about perfect. You can speed up the kneading or even give it a stutter-stop between motions (which is just annoying) but besides the heat function (which actually works quite well to keep your muscles loose) – this device really doesn’t do anything else.I have tried my scalp, my shoulder, my calves and just by nature of two parts moving against each other, this has ‘some’ massage capability for those areas, but its pretty obvious that its really just designed for your upper shoulders.Don’t get me wrong: it does that amazingly well…just about as good as another person squeezing your shoulders does…and this thing wont get tired!We haven’t had the battery run dead yet, and we have used this quite a bit (doesn’t have to be plugged in to use), and I think that it could even be taken on trips with you and the passenger could use it while traveling in a car quite easily.I think it absolutely gets 5 stars for its quality of massage (its almost too much pressure, and I do wish it had a way to back the pressure off, though someone else might love it when it squeezes that hard).I am taking a single star off simply because of its lack of versatility…you really cant get it to adequately massage any other parts of your body, so for less than $40 (at the time of this review) its a really good shoulder massager.-If you have sore shoulders at the end of the day, and your partner cant/wont constantly knead at your muscles for an hour at a time…this is probably the perfect tool for you!

Pleasantly surprised
I kind of hated this at first because it was a little painful. After trying it again the next day, I realized it was because my shoulders were knotted beyond belief, and that’s why it hurt. My husband and I both use this pretty frequently now since we end up hunched over computers every day at work. The heat setting is nice, and it automatically changes the rotation direction every so often then shuts off after a certain amount of time.I try to use it a few times a week to help keep my shoulder tension to a minimum, and it seems to be helping. If you store all your stress in your back and shoulders (like normal people…), then this might not be a bad addition to the weekly routine.

Relaxing, but motors aren’t powerful enough for a deep massage
This neck massager comes with cords for both wall plugin as well as a plugin to a 12V car outlet. There is a 4 button control module stitched into the posterior side of the right strap. There are 2 shiatsu kneading nodes, each having 2 large and 2 small massage balls attached. The controls feature: heat (on/off), speed (3 settings I think), and direction reversing. The straps are long enough to drape over your chest, and there are loops at the ends of the straps to put hands or arms through in order to anchor the device.I found the massage to be relaxing, especially with the heat function on. I put it at my neck then upper back and it really helps knead away surface tension. I wouldn’t attempt to use this on the lower back, it doesn’t seem like it is made to overcome much resistance, because when I leaned back and put a bit of pressure when I had it at my upper back, I heard the motors begin to strain. Also pulling at the straps seemed to invite this straining noise as well, which will probably shorten the product lifespan. So, if you are looking for somewhat deep kneading, I don’t think these motors will cut it.

Wonderful!
Sitting at a computer all day can cause aches and pains but this Shiatsu Neck and Back Messager relieves some of that pain and stiffness. It is easy to use and set up. Nothing complicated. I hope it lasts a long time! Highly recommend.

Could be Stronger
This is a review for: “DAILYLIFE Shiatsu Neck and Back Massager”I got this because my wife has some neck and back knots which she is working on at the gym and with medical massage on a routine. She always wants me to rub her back and shoulders but my hands are too weak most of the time. I thought maybe this would help out. I tried it on myself and it felt great however I notices when I wanted a deeper stronger feeling and I pulled the arm straps to put more pressure I could hear and feel the motor struggling. I think maybe a stronger motor with more torque combines with a bit lower gearing to provide some stronger rubs would be a welcome upgrade. With that said it is a nice easy to use massager with easy to reach controls on one of the arm bands. You can put your whole arm in the holes or just your hands. By using just the hands you are able to move this around to the most needed areas upper or lower back ,middle back, neck, or buttox etc.It is provided with a wall plug with an amply length-ed cord and a car adapter
