The Daiwa Legalis LT features our LT body (light, yet tough) constructed from our all new ZAION-V material. ZAION-V is more easily machinable than our standard ZAION material, allowing a wider range of our reels to enjoy the benefits. It is much lighter and more rigid than standard materials. Also featuring a ZAION-V Air Rotor for weight reduction and added rigidity-the reels are lighter and easier to handle without fatigue over the long course of a full day of fishing.
AIR BAIL ROTOR- The hollow Touch Air Bail is made from SUS303 steel and is 20% tougher than a solid titanium bail of the same weight, and with a lifespan 13 x longer.

Really like this reel for the price. Using on medium action 6â6â Daiwa Tatula rod (which I like as well). Looks good and preforms good. Have only used a dozen times so canât speak on long term durability yet, but so far so good.

For the money, an excellent reel
Canât believe how smooth this is for what I paid. Drag is solid and line lay is even out of the box without needing spacers. Very quiet operation. Retrieval speed seems to match description, which is what I need to slowly work things back.

Drag smooth….Handle to gear movement is solid…..spool movement up and down as well as free play nil. Big Flaw though, spool clicking soft and silent. I miss the old Daiwa drag clicking when fish run…Why…….
