   Excellent
   Works great, ease of use. Able to look up directions online to download since the directions are in another language. Quality reel when fishing in the ocean at 500 feet. Have had the reel for 2 years now and it’s still working great!

   It’s a great value.
   This reel is a great value. I put it to the test today off the Washington coast fishing for lingcod and rockfish in 500 to 700 feet of water. It had no problem working 2 pounds of lead or bringing up 20 pound lingcod in rough water with the boat pitching heavily. I loaded it with a little over 400 yard of 50lb power pro and still had room for a mono top shot.

   Haha, sorry for the bad pun. I’ve only started using it, and getting through the all-Japanese menus takes a little bit of looking up. Once I did though loading up the spool and working with it is very easy.I only wish the battery connectors (just the connector, no wire) were more readily available so I could adapt different kinds of batteries, but I’ll just modify a cable to do that.

   DOA – Will not hold a charge.
   I had high expectations for the Daiwa S500JP Electric Reel 23 Leo Blitz, but unfortunately, it has been nothing short of a disappointment. The reel refuses to charge properly, and despite following the instructions carefully and troubleshooting, it’s completely dead. I’ve tried multiple charging methods, and the charging light doesn’t even come on.For a premium-priced product, this is incredibly frustrating, especially since I was looking forward to its power and convenience while fishing. I’ve had electric reels before, and this is by far the most unreliable one. I contacted customer support, but they were slow to respond, and when they finally did, they just suggested more troubleshooting steps that didn’t help at all.In the end, I’m stuck with an expensive, non-functional reel that I can’t use. I regret purchasing it and would definitely not recommend it to anyone.

   Whilst I say little reel I still managed to get 300m of PE #4 line onto it. Don’t know how it will go with a bigger fish but so far I am loving using it.

    デビュー戦は相模湾の落とし込み、泳がせブリ狙い。ベイトがつかず大苦戦したけど5キロくらいのワラサを無事キャッチ、1匹はバラしてしまったけどパワーは文句なく使い勝手もいい。それに色もカッコイイ。
