Pain equates to less stress
So your wondering if this piece of rubber is worth the money? Well it depends what’s wrong with you. There is no substitute for a good chiropractor, but if you cannot afford one/have been let down before like I have by others, this product might be a shadowy glimmer of hope for you. This product should not be intended to be used more than once a day, and should only be used as an alignment tool only as necessary. With that being said. For those of use that have alignment problems caused by stress that leads to short tense muscle pulling out vertebra out of whack this might be the solution your looking for. What causes short tense muscle and do I have it?Stress, as you hear on TV takes it’s toll on our bodies, especially extended periods of high stress. Naturally, when stressed our bodies get in that fight/flight mode that never seems to go away which in theory leads to teeth grinding (instinctively clenching our teeth for protection against a brutal attack), clenching our fists and muscles we don’t even know we’re using (especially the back). Again, I am no doctor although I have had years of personal experience in this department, but if you find yourself arching your back and/or self adjusting (“popping”) your back, this could remotely be a possibility for you. In this case, professionally and personally adjusting your back all the time could aggravate the situation and lose that stiffness our backs need to stay in place (since cracking our backs is NOT natural). It should also be noted that sitting, overdeveloping muscles, or being in certain contorted stances/positions may also lead to short muscle development. (All of which I have done)What does this product do?For me, I use this product to penetrate deep stiff muscles in my back with contribute to my upper back problems. This product is no joyride and for me is extremely painful, but I find this tool to be extremely effective in loosening my tight stiff muscles in the back. Short muscle is never good. That is why it is recommended that you stretch before you run, lift weights, or perform yoga to relieve stress (stress = short muscle remember?). Yoga is the safest and most widely accepted form of stress relief for which there is no substitute, but there are deep spots in our bodies (like for me in between my left shoulder blade and spine) that yoga is ineffective. This tool digs it’s way in there and stretches those “trigger points” or short muscle and not only relieves the pain after a short period of agony, but also helps nurture the spine to go where it’s supposed to winning that tug of war battle between short muscle and the natural position of our bodies.Final thoughts:If you have already consulted a doctor, ask that specialist if this product is right for you. Adjusting your back too often will cause more problems than you started out with, and the primary use of this product is for trigger point and short muscle stretching and releasing. As with everything common sense dictates this tools effectiveness, and for me it’s worth is considerable.

The Answer to Twenty Years of Pain
I was in a car accident about twenty years ago and suffered severe whiplash; torn ligaments and my axis vertabrae was out of whack for over five years. I was then treated by a neck specialist who adjusted my axis (never let anyone crack your neck it really messes you up in the long run) by using sonar to move it back into place. This alone gave me much relief and still does when he gives me an adjustment, but there are many times when my neck is just tight and full of knots due to stress, fatigue, etc. The Divinci tool is a God-send; totally reduced my pain in minutes, and since I got it I’ve used it for about ten minutes each evening for the past week. My neck feels so much better, I am pain free and I sleep like a baby, better than I have in years. I often used to get these big knots in my upper back from my neck being out of whack, that’s a thing of the past. I can’t believe I have found an answer that is so affordable and that I can use myself at home rather than running off to a doctor’s office. If you suffer from neck pain and/or migraines due to some sort of neck trauma, and if you feel relief when you put your pressure on those two spots at the base of your skull, that’s a sign that this tool is exactly what you need. You have to play with it a bit, which isn’t hard, and the way to use it varies from person to person. You also have to experiment a little because the instructions are rather vague. What I found worked best for me was tilting the Divinci on an angle while laying on the floor until the two points of the pointy side are directly pushing on the underside of my skull where it meets the neck, thirty seconds on, fifteen seconds off, for a up to ten minutes. Five will actually do it, but I like to be thorough. This simple exercise provides me with relief for the next 24 hours, and I’m finding that the relief is cumulative, so the base point of discomfort is getting to be less and less. And if you suffer like I have in the past with neck pain, tension, knots in your neck and upper back, you know exactly what I’m talking about, and what you would give to be able to eliminate it from your life. Look at the price tag for this thing. I would have paid four times that amount if I knew it would bring me relief. It may not work for you, but if what I describe in terms of neck pain and headaches and tension sounds familiar, it very likely will do for you what it does for me.

Good for neck, not so good for rest of back.
So far, I’ve used the softer (red) of the two. I’m a (retired) massage therapist and have issues with tight neck muscles. This works good for placing (while lying on your back) immediately under the skull to help release, stretch, relax those muscles. This will give most people a good bit of relief from normal everyday tightness from reading, looking at a computer, muscular-tension headaches, etc. You can also position this lower down the neck. still why lying on your back, to stretch out the muscles that attach to the spine all the way down the neck. I found it a bit hard to position correctly for use on the upper back, however. A handle or strap might be a good addition for making positioning easier. It gets easier to use it at the lower level (lumbars) but the red one started to bend slightly when I started to ease my body weight onto it so I ceased. I haven’t tried the blue one yet but suspect it will hold up better under the weight – but may feel uncomfortable due to its more rigid makeup. Due to small size, it really was uncomfortable using around the hip joint – a softball still works better for me there. Due to the triangular shape, the stability makes for a good way to put pressure on the bottom of the feet. I would use this for trigger point work but not for a relaxing foot massage.

This Occipital Release Tool is simply amazing! I love it! I received it today and couldn’t wait to use it. I can feel the releases in just a few minutes of use. It meets and beats my expectations! I love that it has three different sides that releases various pressure points. I was a hairdresser for 51 years so lots of neck/nerve tightness. Also helps with sinus issues and headaches. I wish that I had owned this tool a long time ago.

Itâs very helpful.Edit on June 2022: The first thing I do before I get up and before I go to sleep is putting this under my neck and head. Otherwise, life is not easy for me.

I like the design of this product, it has 3 forms I can use to release tension throughout my body.I like the fact that it wont slip away like a trigger point ball would. This is a handy tool that gets into the nooks and crannies efficiently!
