Well designed, unique representation of the most iconic batmobile for the kid in you.
I have the hotwheels 1/18 scale batmobile and I thought it was the best batmobile I could get, until I saw this thing.TLDR: Well designed, unique representation of the most iconic batmobile that will make you feel like a kid again.Design 5/5:-Well proportioned and Screen accurate look.-Scale is over 1/18, but the car fits nicely on the full width of a detolf shelf. The base is bigger than a detolf shelf can support but can sit nicely on the top.-No metal but it does not need it.-Remote quality is fairly basic but this is not a drone needing a spectrum dx transmitter, it’s a toy.-Unboxing experience feels like that of a premium product.Driving Features 5/5:-Lightweight and fast. This thing feels like it’s running on brushless motors. Make sure you put your pets away and have enough room to test drive it.-Speed and turn control depending on how far you push the stick.-Engine sounds that change depending on how much throttle you give it!Price: 4/5-While the price of admission may be a bit steep, I could see this item going for $300 and people still getting it regardless once it runs out of stock everywhere.-If you don’t need the electronics and the novelty factor of having an amazing electric led lit base, there are several cheaper offerings to choose from.Gimmicks: 5/5-Jet exhaust with jet sounds!!-Front and rear lights-Rotating turntable batcave display-Pulsing led display lights-Pop up guns and Sliding canopy which are neat but I wish they would retract automatically too. That would likely had required advanced engineering and driven up the cost.-Cockpit light with sound playing when you put the figure in.-Not a fan of the walking away footsteps soundeffect, but whatever.-Did I mention Jet frikking exhaust with jet sounds?!Fun factor: 5/5Made me feel like a kid again. They say boys never really grow up, their toys get more expensive. This is what this “collectible” is all about. Just pure fun.Overall, I am really pleased with this. My only regret is I should have gotten this on preorder when it was about 30$ cheaper at one point.

Awesome Batman setup
Bought this for my man/bat cave and not so much as rc car. But the rc car is super fun to play with. The car is very detailed and is worth the price. The car is heavy and built very well. Easy to use and the size is large enough to delight kids all the way to us older nerds.

Love it
Itâs everything I dreamed of and more. Itâs very cool. Itâs a great display piece and it comes with the extra features the bells and the whistle are so worth itThe figure to add is just a bonus.

As a batman fan a MUST HAVE!
OK first off the box and packaging is amazing! Then you take it out the box and it’s immaculate. I charged it up took it for a spin and put it back in the box because it’s that kind of collectable keep it in the box. May buy a display case for it at some point but excellent excellent collectable.

Not very durable at all and is not worth the price
This is really neat for the Batman collector. That being said, this is not worth the price! It is not very durable. The paint is is extremely easily marred and the car does not perform well at all. The packaging is awesome and the charging dock is really cool to look at but this simply does not work as advertised and itâs not very durable at all. DO NOT BUY this if you intend on actually driving the car. It is a really neat collectors piece but durability, charging and response to the remote is not good at all.

Looks great and is tons of fun
I guess I’ll get the one negative out of the way for this toy / display, the cost. It’s not the cheapest thing in the world but if you have the money and you’re a Batman fan, you will love it.So the batmobile itself measures 13.25 in from tip to tip. The batmobile manual states that the 1989 batmobile was 21.73 ft long so this translates roughly to 1/20 scale but who knows if that manual is accurate. Either way it’s close enough to the 1/18 scale as discussed. The sculpt looks excellent in dark matte black plastic. The plastic is not cheap though and doesn’t flex and feels quite sturdy. And of course with the motor inside, the whole car has a nice weight to it.The display stand is pretty much all plastic but it looks really nice with the lights around the circumference of the platform. There are two settings for the lights and they did a really nice job with it. So far I haven’t had any issues charging the car or rotating the base but I’ve only had it for a couple of days. Well I guess the one issue is that the tail lights are supposed to stop blinking once it’s charged but it doesn’t seem to ever fully charge…or the lights just keep blinking. I’ve used it a few times as a remote control car and didn’t have any issues with battery life or charge. So of course what makes this batmobile special are the lights and sounds accompanying the remote control capabilities. Everything works the way that it should and it looks fantastic. The smoke effect is great and if you’re already driving the car around with the remote and you hit the smoke effect, you get a boosting sound effect and the car takes off on you for a moment, lol…really nicely done. The car is fast and it drives great. Even the cat seemed to like it… she hides from everything but she hung around twice to watch the car go around. And it’s fairly loud which is nice but again the cat must have been mystified by the whole thing because she didn’t go anywhere even when I drove the car almost right up to her.Anyway, if you’ve got about $165 burning a hole in your pocket and you happen to be a 1989 Batman fan, the car and display will bring a smile to your face. I use it mainly for display and I think it’s great for that but the remote control aspect of it is tons of fun as well.Update: just figured I would update this after owning it for about a week since some people had issues with various functions that stopped working after a couple of days. Thankfully I haven’t had any issues so far. I’ve played with it as a remote control car at least once or twice a day for the last week and have had zero issues. I mentioned earlier that the blinking tail lights while charging never seem to stop blinking. That’s still the case but it doesn’t seem to affect anything else. It’s still a lot of fun and still looks great on display… and the cat still likes it too, unless I accidentally head straight for her, lol.** 12/26/23… The motor that rotates the base stopped working a couple of weeks ago. Knocking off one star. Honestly I should knock off more than that considering I bought it mostly for that feature but it’s still fun as a remote control car.

If you are a collector, it is worth it.

Wow is this thing awesome!! I have quite a few collectable Batman and Batmobile collector pieces and I honestly have to say this is right up there in my top 2.The lights, sound and smoke effects really take this to the next level and I can confirm that the batcave base DOES charge the Batmobile. Some reviews seem to think it’s expensive, but I don’t see it that way. Not sure what people expect at this price point, but it’s priced fair in my opinion and I can see this selling between $450 – $500 when they sell out. Even at that price it’s still worth having.Pros-Lights effectsSounds effects while driving are a really nice touch. The smoke effects really take this to the top of my list, that alone makes this piece really stand out from the rest. The speed – wow is this sucker is fast!! Makes it quite a joy to drive around, feels like I’m right there in the 1989 Batman movie! The box that comes in, very well packed and great art work.Cons-Only thing I can critique is the Batman figure. It’s a bit cheap looking, but for me, this piece is all about the Batmobile and the Batmobile is pure ð¥If anyone is thinking about buying this, I highly recommend it. My advice is buy it now before it sells out and you end up paying double. Thanks for taking the time to read my review and I hope it was helpful!!I’M BATMAN…..K maybe I’m not, but with this collectors piece I fell like I am ð¦
