So far the extension cord works as advertised
I use this GFCI extension cord in an outdoor setting. This GFCI product itself is protected from wet weather, just not the power cords using this product. I use it during the winter to run power through to my greenhouse for outdoor plants. My weather protected AC outlet is not GFCI enabled so I use this. So far no issues whatsoever after using most of last winter. Recommended.

Electricity doesn’t get personal about safety, it will strike anyone or anything.This GFCI outlet is so easily portable, that it should be used every time you go to plug in a power tool.
