Just Buy This Kit!
As a Master Craftsman who makes a living working with my hands creating things, I can say with 100% certainty that everything in this kit is going to get used. I love that the kit is not over packaged, in that everything isn’t separately bagged and taped up. There is minimal work to do to unwrap everything. I am extremely pleased with all the accessories that came with it. It has plenty of power, and it is very versatile. Everything is all in one convenient location, which makes it very portable. There was even plenty of room for the various bits that I already had from a previous Dremel tool. I like that it opens up and the side hinges click into place so it will not accidentally fall closed and it also unlocks the drawer, so the drawer is not going to open up while you’re carrying it with the top closed. So far, it has proven to be extremely valuable, durable, and a great value for the money! I’ve read some of the reviews where some people have complained that it vibrates at a certain speed. I would wager that these people are trying to run it with one of the various chucks attached to it, and it’s not tightened down. If you plug yours in and you notice a vibration at any speed, either tightened down whatever chuck you have attached to it or remove it all together because a loose chuck (or even an off-center bit) will cause a vibration. I have absolutely no complaints with my kit, and it will get used for a wide range of projects. Also, I suggest that, at the very least, you purchase the 3-year warranty plan. It’s always better safe than sorry.

Incredible Tool
This thing is absolutely awesome. It’s definitely not whisper quiet, but at the same time, it has more power than many other Dremel tools do. I have used it several times so far and it continue to work perfectly for me. Highly recommend it to folks as something to simply have (in case you need it later), or for a particular job you might need it for. It won’t disappoint. The only gripe I have are that they did not include a larger variety of more precision-based bits. You will need to purcahse your own set of smaller bits for jobs like working on jewelry or something like that. Keep this in mind for anyone needing to work on very small precise jobs like that. For everything else, this thing has you covered.

La verdad es que yo compré este kit para desarrollar un hobbie, me llama mucho la atención los multitrabajos que se pueden hacer con esta herramienta, hasta el momento solo la he probado una vez y funciona genial, aunque las brocas y todos los accesorios son caros. Me daré el tiempo para probarlo mas veces y actualizaré mi reseña, hasta 3l momento funciona todo perfecto y se ve de muy buena calidad

I do small projects, so sonething like thus us ideal, granted it’s overpriced, but I bought it mainly for the different attachments. So yeah of you are limited on space an do small jobs, it will come in handy.

No he tenido tanto tiempo para usar el Dremel en tantas ideas que se me ocurren, pero en los pocos proyectos que la he usado ha funcionado bastante bien. La verdad es una herramienta muy versátil. Me ha servido para reparar y afilar cuchillos de cocina (recomiendo primero usar el Dremel sobre todo para quitar imperfecciones de la hoja y luego afilar con piedra y quedan de maravilla), la he usado para quitar rebabas en piezas de latón, para lijar trozos de madera y cortar madera y funciona bien. Debo decir que es para proyectos que no requieran cortes tan grandes o materiales muy pesados. Una cuestión que no me agrada tanto es que las puntas se desgastan bastante rápido. Traté de ser muy cuidados en cuanto a usar la punta adecuada para el material adecuado a la velocidad adecuada, y aún asà el desgaste sà es rápido. Recomiendo leer el manual bien antes de usarlo, ya que sà hay cosas muy especÃficas que si se desconocen pueden dañar el equipo. No he podido probar todos los aditamentos, me falta probar la extensión para detalles y esculpir con ella un poco. Lo único que no me funciona al 100% es el cabezal que sujeta las lijas en forma de cilindro para madera. En algunas posiciones la lija se recorre y sale del cabezal, le tuve que meter un poco de papel para que hiciera mayor presión y no se saliera de su lugar. No puedo decir sà es el cabezal o la lija viene floja o un poco más grande, no intenté con otra lija porque no querÃa gastar las demás. Otra cosa que me gustó es que no es tan ruidosa, esperaba más ruido, y la caja con la que viene protege y mantiene en orden bastante bien la herramienta y los aditamentos.
