What a life-saver!
This simple but fantastic device can change your life. Being able to carry ANYTHING is a convenience you quickly miss when using a walker. The plastic tray keeps small things from falling through the basket, and the cup holder (while it won’t hold a ceramic coffee mug) is super convenient. The tray also saved me some messes when I spilled into it, instead of straight onto the floor. The basket is also very simple to remove and put back on. I used it only at the house, so I would remove it every trip out. It does add a bit of bulk and take up space if you are in tight quarters.NOTE: Carrying items in the basket makes the walker front heavy. The more weight you add, the more so. My husband and I both knocked over the walker a couple times when it was sitting idly with a few things in the basket.I did slightly smash the raised portion between the cup holder and rectangular part of the tray when a heavy item fell into it. Still functioned just fine.I fashioned a pen holder in the corner of the basket by the cup holder. It was nice to always have a pen handy but not sliding and rattling in the tray.

Ok. Some adjustments needed.
This has a top hook that goes over the horizontal bar, and 2 pieces that fold out and rest against the front legs of the walker. The two parts that fold out were apparently too tricky for my mother, her friends, and the paratransit drivers, to position correctly. I was able to put them in place fine, but older or disabled people might find it difficult to hold the basket in place, while properly positioning those two parts. Without those two pieces in place, the basket is not stable.I ended up taping those two parts to the walker with duct tape. Paratransit might not be happy that the basket is not removable now, so the walker cannot fold completely flat, but since they could not put the basket back on properly, this is my solution for now.The basket also makes the walker a little front heavy, so I adjusted the front legs a little higher. You might have a different experience with your specific walker.I wanted a wire basket instead of a cloth one, because I don’t want this to be a substitute purse. I want this to be a way to carry temporary items like a travel mug, or similar items, back and forth when needed. I think that’s easier with a structured open wire basket, versus a cloth bag, which might be more difficult to put things in and out of, would probably need more cleaning, and might start to collect things like coins and cookies and small bits of paper.Overall this basket works well, but as I said above, it does make the walker a little front heavy, (but I imagine anything attached to the front would), and the fold-out parts that rest against the legs are apparently tricky for some people to place properly. So buy yourself some duct tape 🙂

Get it. You need it and wonât be sorry.
I absolutely love this basket and it fit on my walker perfect and I donât care if the cupholder is a piece of plastic that sits down in the basket it holds my gigantic top-of-the-line heavy full of ice water container and thatâs good enough for me. It also hose my cell phone my 38 special my CB radio so I can hear if my mom needs me my little string Iâve had since I was like five years old which is a long story since Iâm an old older lady now.. no need to explain…,And it holds any other crap I put in it that I need to carry around room to room with me after my knee surgery. It is not falling off it is not collapsed I have not apparently overweighted it which I think I probably have but it still stays strong and sturdy. Itâs lightweight so itâs not like I have extra added weight when I push my walker even when I add all my stuff to it including the kitchen sink. Itâs so nice to be able to put everything in this little basket and move from room to room and go to bed with everything I need including my 38 right there next to me. I freaking love it and although I wonât be using this walker forever I will keep it and cherish it in case any other family member ever needs it and they too can enjoy the benefits of this amazing basket.. Do not listen to the negative reviews this sucker works and holds my junk and thatâs a lot. Oh I also add my glasses my phone charger bank and cord and sometimes I carry the remotes in advertently into my bedroom to in my basket. Me and my basket travel.

Walker basket
Ordered this for my dad’s walker to hold his portable O2 machine. It can be a little top heavy, would be great if they could find a way to even out the weight distribution once items are in the basket. We’re trying to figure out a hack to balance it. Otherwise, great little basket. Can hold quite a bit. We just needed it for his portable oxygen machine as he’s too weak to carry that even with the carry bag & use the walker at the same time! Great price.

Won’t Stay on Walker
We bought this basket, paying twice as much as the generic version, because it was supposed to be custom fit for the Drive walker. In reality, it is the exact same basket as the cheaper version with a top hanger and bottom arms to supposedly hold it on. The problem is anytime you bump the walker, the basket easily can and will comes off the walker. So, we ended up using straps to hold it secure, defeating the purpose of the hanger and arms. Also, the “cup holder” is a joke – a piece of flimsy plastic molded to sort of hold a cup. My suggestion – don’t buy this model. Instead, spend 1/2 as much on the generic version and just strap it on. It is truly identical down to the cheap cup holder. Very disappointed in the design of this basket, especially at the price.

Basket with built-in cup holder, BIG help
This helps me and more so my wife, that she has one less task to help me with one leg. Her plate is full as it is and not only can I lug over a drink, but a sandwich too, in the basket.

Works great
This basket is needed for someone who needs a walker and has stuff to carry. It does come with a cheap plastic holder in the bottom that keeps small stuff from falling out. It’s easy to put on and take off if needed. The basket is sturdy and a great help.

This is a useful adjunct to my inside Walker. Itâs not wide enough for plates but for odds and ends, things from the refridgerator, etc. itâs very handy.

Easily fitted to a variety of walkers. Functional and very useful, but cup holder is not very sturdy, being made of thin transparent pressed plastic. I almost threw it away as part of the packaging.

Fits well on present Drive walker. Easy to remove when not needed.
