Cheaply made
This rack is flimsy, I tried to put two 45 lb dumbbells on it and the angle iron is bending like it made of tin. Wouldnât recommend this to anyone. I guess you get what you pay for, thereâs no way this would fit or support the 1100 lbs it says it rated for. It shows 5 – 45lb dumbbells in picture, this is completely false advertising. I donât think you could fit 3 / 45lb dumbbells on the rack. Could be a little wider and definitely needs to be a heavier gauge steel!

Well made rack
The dumbbell rack arrived, well made, on target and defect free. The rack came with necessary tools, and all parts were well labeled. The parts were well wrapped and the removal of the wrap took some time but did a great job in protection. Interestingly, the part labels, which were referenced in the directions were on the wrapping, so removal of the wrapping shouldn’t be done until the part is needed for assembly. A mistake I initially made. The instructions were pictorial, so no words. Fortunately, the rack is easy to assemble. Although the rack came with tools, a ratchet and adjustable wrench are preferable. The rack fit a total of 10 dumbbells, and 4 kettlebells on the top shelf. The rack is sturdy and currently has approximately 300 lbs. of total weight with no signs of stress. The rack meets my needs and works as advertised.

False advertising
Rack claims it can support 1100lbs this is a lie. Metal is thin and flexes when you put a 45lb dumbbell on it and it falls off. Not safe if the weights fall off. Injury to kids or pets is possible. The pictures on this page and on the box and on the instructions show the frame is a solid piece this is also a lie. The pictures I provided shows the rack is actually 2 piece bolted together. The top shelf will bend if more than 20lbs is put in the middle. Far from the claimed 1100lbs of weight it claims to support. Also it lists with the 1100lb claim that it’s adjustable….once it’s put together there is nothing adjustable about it. Lies… Do not recommend product

Simple but sturdy
Easy to assemble and seems sturdy enough to hold a few hundred pounds. I like that the top is a regular shelf to hold miscellaneous items, not just dumbbells. There is what I consider to be a design flaw, though: there’s a space difference of about 8″ between the back of the shelf at the top and the back of the shelf at the bottom (image attached). If space is an issue for you, as it is for me, this is a significant downside. If it was 6″ narrower front-to-back, I don’t think it would compromise the balance or sturdiness of the shelf in any way, and it would fit much better into the space I have for it.That said, it seems priced very competitively for what it is. If space isn’t a big issue for you, I think it’s a good buy.

Very light weights only. Really unimpressed
It was easy enough to put together (remember to place part “I” in between A and B, and C and D). I will say assembly was fairly straightforward, easy, took about an hour, with my tiny backtrack error. HOWEVER, once assembled this is essentially a TWO TIER RACK ONLY. The top shelf is useless for ANY weights. Fine as a shelf but my 10 lb kettlebell placed on it gently clearly and visibly warped the metal shelf downward. It’ll be used for gloves and accessories. My plan for using that top shelf for kettlebells is absolutely not an option. For the price point on this, around 80-90 bucks, I’d look elsewhere if you need a true 3 tier rack AND need a place to store kettlebells. I’m going to get some bumper strips to add to the bottom tier and lay the kettlebells on there; mine are coated and laying them direclty on those racks will chip away at the coating. Overall I’m unimpressed. I’m waiting for black friday sales to purchase a solid rack as this won’t do much other than hold a few sets of dumbbels.

It’s not good dog..
Yeah don’t spend any hard-earned money on this if you are planning to use in a home weightlifting garage style gym – you will be sorely disappointed.- 1100 lbs is a complete lie and joke. It would not even be possible to to find space for much weight. In my pictures I have less than 200lbs on dbs on the rack and it already pretty much full.- Top rack is useless for anything other than accessories. As you can see the top bends under weight of a couple KBs.- Rack is not wide enough to 2 pair of DBs over say 30lbs.IF you plan to use this in the house with small fractional up to 15 lb DBs and KBS – it would probably be fine for that.

Flimsy
No way this could hold 1100 lbs. There are 2 racks and I can’t even fit 180 lbs total on a rack (not wide enough). And the rack is barely supporting the weight. The shelf maybe could hold 60 lbs. 1100 lbs is a lie. I have less than 400 lbs total dumbells and barely fit in the rack.
