I’m a physician working with Dr. Voll’s system since 1976 and did study directly with this remarkable doctor. That is to say that I can consider my self an expert in the Electroacupuncture according to Dr. Voll. I also have to say I have owned a lot of these machines, including the original Dermatron from Pitterling, so I’m quite able to qualify which of them are good and why. My experience with Dr. Voll method, through more than 40 years has being very positive and fullfilling, for me and my patients.That said I have to state that this russian device has surprised and impressed me positively in many ways.Also I have several complains with the seller in Russia, with whom I had a whatsapp chat (it was november 5, 2021 at 3:42 am (for them) so I don’t know if her lack of interest was because she was half asleep or that it is the way russians behave with their clients). I told her that I liked the machine very much but that I would share with her some remarks which -being corrected- could enhance the performance of this device exponentially and that could translate in better sales (something I wrongly thought it would interest her).In any case let me begin with my appraise for this device:1- Excelent electronics, which means that it manages correctly the whole process of testing2- Simple but effective design to show the values display3- The device is 1/4 larger than my Samsung Note 9 phone. It means I can use a lot of gadgets designed for smartphones to hold it in place while testing (see picture). After having a lot of enormous Voll testing devices I totally appretiate this design, specially when moving around.4- It features a digital reading (red leds) and a sound monitoring showing the correlate indicator drop value tested5- It works with 3 AA batteries but also with a USB connection6- Easy way to test the batteriesWhat I don’t like:1- Cables cannot be detatched. Can you imagine a smartphone with the earphone permanently atatched? It would be a real nuisance! Not only it is very bothersome to move around but it wears up the cable so that you begin to feel one day this cables will fall off.2- Permanent cables don’t allow to use different electrodes3- No output for computing values in your laptop or tablet4- Terrible case and worse user manual5- If you are serious with this method you expect to test several (some times a lot) of healing active substances. That means you need a place to put those medicines. The solution they came upon was a hollow top of the hand electrode (is that a joke?). I’ll show you the solution I came upon to solve this in the shared picture.6- No bluetooth signal coming out to share on your smartphone (come on, we’re in 2021)7- Lousy top of the battery compartment (quite difficult to close it)8- Lack of the new generation Voll testing electrode which have a spetial design as to not hurt the skinNow, I shared some of these remarks with Miss Tatiana and her answers where… “ok”. After telling her of the other remarks she told me “How many devices do you plan to buy?”… And that was the last time I heard from her (or them).I tried to contact the manufacturer with no success (I believe Miss Tatiana is just a seller) .To solve the described problems I had to do some cable surgery (not a big deal, I am not an electronic guy, just some very simple tasks) and add a banana jack (male and female) to both hand and active electrode.I bought a stainless steel plate to which I attached 2 cables, as to test the medicines and easily connect to the device.Also bought a new case.In the past I built a small computer program to write down the tested values. In the present case there is no way to stream this data from the device to a pc or tablet. Bluetooth enhancement is totally beyond my capacity.So, after this bitter-sweet experience I don’t know if this device would have some kind of support, but any way I enjoy it in the meantime. Some of you might have the money to go and buy fancy devices which cost way beyond the 1000$ mark. Me being from Venezuela try to find budget yet efficient devices out there.
