Works great.
I have a couple of these electric corkscrews (from different brands), in different residences. Why struggle to open a good bottle of wine. We have the technology to make this easier. The negative observation about this one is that it’s not rechargeable and in fact, requires 4 AA batteries. They try to spin that into a positive by saying you don’t have to worry about recharging, but that’s crazy because instead, you have to worry about your batteries being depleted and maybe not having fresh ones in the house when you need to use this thing; not to mention how expensive batteries have gotten lately. It’s not that big a problem for me because I have rechargeable AA batteries, but I guess that means I do have to worry about recharging and have the extra step of having to change them out. Otherwise the product works fine but my USB rechargeable one is more convenient.

The design of this electric wine opener is straightforward. Operating it only takes one hand, and its one-click button feature makes opening a bottle easy. The fact that it uses four AA batteries is a big plusâthere are never enough electric outlets to keep all devices charged. (In older homes, this is especially troublesome.)Traditional can openers and corkscrews become more challenging to use as we age. This product is ideal for older folks, particularly those with arthritis. This is the first electric corkscrew opener I have owned, and I love it.

I like the fact this one is battery powered as ones I’ve had in the past I feel like I’m always misplacing the charger so it’s nice it’s battery powered. I’ve only used it a handful of times so hopefully the batteries hold up for awhile I’ll update if not. Does the job and at the current price point good find.

This wine opener takes 2 AA batteries (not included) and at first test, I thought it may not be powerful enough, but I opened a few bottles of wine with it and it works great. It has a built in foil cutter on the bottom that works nicely–even on a somewhat wide top bottle I had. Then just place the corkscrew over your cork and hold the bottle with one hand and press the down arrow until the cork comes out. Once out, press the up arrow and your cork will be released. Nice modern looking and doesn’t take up much space.
