Nifty and very useful barcode reader for inventory use, POS or anything else.
A great little bardoce reader that can do much more than you think, like not only read barcodes, but also a QR code reader. With the right setup with either the included USB dongle, bluetooth, direct cable connection, or if configured right it can store many codes in it’s internal mamory to be uploaded to a device later. What is even better, it works like most other barcode readers and works like a keyboard, no software or additional drivers needed. I have tested it on my PC, laptop, phones (iOS and Android). The only issue with using on android, it disables the onscreen keyboard in my use.

Simple connection, works great
The Bluetooth connection with my Windows laptop was quick and easy. This little scanner worked perfectly for me straight out of the box. It shut itself off after a few minutes of no use, but reconnected on its own almost immediately when I woke it up. Worked perfectly with the USB dongle as well and that connection didn’t require any sort of set-up or pairing. Small, convenient and super simple to use.

I followed all directions but it would not even show up as an available device on my iPhone’s bluetooth.

Small and light, quick wake and scanning
I’m using this pocket barcode scanner to track items around the house, using data storage mode. Quick at scanning, even when off (less than a second to wake and scan). Picks up 3-9″ away for typical sizes. Scans codes on computer screens well. Very customizable using QR codes in manual.Scanner is compact and holds decently. Weighs 33 g. Plastic feels thin and lightweight, not ABS. Powers on, connects to USB dongle, and scans to PC in less than a second. I could scan same code about 6 times per second. Must hold still when scanning. Handled 1D and 2D codes fine.Bluetooth worked on my newer BT 5.0+ phones. Dongle worked on Linux and Windows. Supports virtual COM serial mode that worked fine in Linux: ^&016&^ to enable, ^&015&^ for normal keyboard mode (not in manual, so make QR codes of these and scan).

Excellent scanner from a trusted brand
This was an excellent scanner from Eyoyo, a brand that has produced a number of different scanner models I have used over the last five years as a used book scanner. This model does qr codes, has a built in light, and has the same features of the models I have enjoyed in the past. I’ll be reselling my old eyoyo model scanners and will probably buy another one of these as a backup. 10/10 would recommend.

Worked great for inventory
Used this for our recent inventory count and it was perfect. Easy to pair with the iPad and didn’t have any functionality issues at all. Counts went quick. Glad we can find something like this that’s easy to carry around!
