   Its a great 1st reel
   Great 1st reel for my man who got into fishing, although the top part of his rod has already broke and i got him this for Christmas. He was really bummed cuz he liked how the rod handles and the compact size of it. The bait that comes with it is really cool though.

   Very poor quality!
   This rod and reel was birthday gift for my grandson. He spent over a week researching bait casters for his present. I ordered it and had it shipped to him. He was so excited that he finally got to go fishing this weekend and it broke right away. What a wonderful way to celebrate your birthday!

   Functional for the most part
   So I got this fishing rod for my kids because they have recently become interested in fishing. So far I’ve bought about seven or eight fishing poles between all of my kids and this one seems to work okay. I will say that on the first couple of tries the line keeps getting twisted and my son said it’s because it has a braided line which I’m not really familiar with that but it is a thicker line so maybe that’s why. We just got it so we’re still figuring out how it going to work down the line but so far so good. The price was a little high for me but I guess compared to fishing poles that you can get at academy or a sports and outdoor place It’s comparable. The product arrived quickly and was easy to assemble.

   Not bad. Its a solid product for the money. My issue is I bought a right hand reel and received a left hand. The reel is not ambidextrous so can’t swap sides. Since I didn’t get what I ordered, 3stars

    My youngest found this kit on amazon and immediately wanted the baitcaster. Reel seems like good quality so far, kit arrived just in time for Birthday. Happy so far.
