Love them, great for outdoors!
I bought 2 of these and put them outdoors, I must say I really love them, they’re huge, so easy to connect, nice and cushiony, and feel great when you walk on it!I didn’t use them for what they were originally intended to be used for, I used them for an outdoor sort of patio for my feral cat colony that I take care of. I wanted them to have a place that wasn’t so cold because I have nothing but cement, and in the winter the cement is freezy cold on their poor little paws, so I came up with this cheap solution, the other hard plastic patio tiles are SOOO expensive and you don’t get that many for the size they are, while these are 2’Ã2′, the patio tiles only come in 11 inches or 12 inches, which to me means you’re going to pay a whole lot for them, and these did a really great job, plus I love that they stop the rain from advancing into my car port, since I have the complete mat right in front of it. It’s rather large to, went all the way across!Today as I write this has been a very blustery rain day. I have swept off the water on it, it dried quickly, and the rain did not go into the carport where I have warm cat houses for them to stay in for the winter. These are SOOOO PERFECT!! I recommend them absolutely, you won’t have any regrets!!I’m buying MORE!!!I’ve sent photos of them put together, as you might notice, on one side is the rubber tiles, on the other side next to the rubber tiles is artificial grass for the cats to play in. I did buy the grass on Amazon too.I’m updatiing my review…today (12/29/18) we got freezing cold weather with snow, not a whole lot because in the desert Southwest it’s very unusual, but the low was 28°, and it hasn’t gotten warm at all, only 35°. The rubber tiles didn’t have any snow on top of it, the artificial grass did. I have a water bowl on the rubber tiles and one on the cement, the one on the cement froze, the one on the rubber tiles did not freeze, nor did the tiles feel cold, I touched them and they only felt cool, but the cement was freezing cold, could explain why the water froze! Great rubber tiles for certain…thought it might help anyone thinking about using them in the same way I did!I am updating my rewiew, since I’ve added so many more tiles, I’ve put more pictures of it. One thing else I didn’t add…they are easy to clean!

Great For Kidâs Play Area + Easy to Clean!
We recently transformed our basement into a play area for the kids. Concrete is cold and uninviting so we got these mats for the floor. I saw some in Home Depot but they were more expensive and not to mention a lot thinner. My wife told me to check out Amazon instead and thatâs where I came across these. You get more bang for your buck and theyâre thicker.We got several packs in blue and it definitely livens things up. Itâs very easy to set up, you just fit all the pieces together. There were a few corners that had to be trimmed but that wasnât a big deal at all. We got the entire floor done in less than 30 minutes.All in all, a very good product. It does get dirty though and since our son likes sitting and playing on the floor, we make an effort to clean the mats regularly. We usually start by vacuuming the area, then we use a cleaner. We have a mop with a microfiber pad and that works great at accumulating all the gunk. The head swivels too so we can easily clean the corners and edges. It depends on our schedule but we usually mop it with cleaner every 2-3 days. Sometimes, if thereâs just a small mess weâll use plain water.Pros:1) The foam mats donât have any noticeable smell even when you take it out of the packaging. It was something that we were worried about at first but now it seems like that was unnecessary.2) You can trim the mats easily with a pair of scissors. Thatâs what we did near the door since it needed a gap in order to close. You can probably also use a utility knife or something similarâ¦the foam material isnât that hard to cut through at all.3) I kind of mentioned this earlier but these mats are much more affordable than what you can find in stores. We spent less than $50 for the basement area and thatâs a deal.4) They serve as a great insulator. Our son likes to run around and jump and these mats do a great job of absorbing it all. Iâm so glad I didnât go with the thinner ones from Home Depot.5) We didnât do this but you can easily create a checkered pattern if you purchase the mat in two colors.6) The foam mats are very soft and comfortable to walk and play on.Cons:1) The mats kind of get slippery if youâre wearing socks so we always tell our son to take them off before playing. Better safe than be sorryâ¦2) You have to play with the foam pieces a bit to line them up exactly the way you want for edges.3) Sometimes the pieces will come apart when our son is running up and down. He actually fell down once beacuse of that but luckily he took it with stride. Now we always make sure to watch him when heâs playing.4) There was a layer of dust/debris on the foam mats out of the packaging so we had to wipe them all down with a bit of water and soap before putting them together. I would recommend that you do the same.

Great for Garage/Gym/Kids Playroom, Comfortable, Easy to Clean
These can be used for so many purposes, which makes them so versatile. We have ours covering our garage floor, but these can be used wherever you are looking to have protection. It is nice to have the added foam and comfort from the concrete flooring. These tiles are 3/4″ thick. They can be pretty easily mopped, or cleaned with spray and a towel, but it can be a little messy and difficult to dry if you use too much water and it seeps through the cracks of the foam. The gray color is fairly light, but still hides dirt well. Each tile is about 24″ x 24″ without the edging.These are extremely lightweight and very easy to assemble. The strips to go around the edges make the “puzzle” appear complete and gives a finished look. They are also very durable, as I have not experienced any rips, tears or holes, but heavy objects do leave indentations in a short period of time so be mindful. Some of them will subside and disappear, but most will not.The price is a bit steep for the quantity you receive, and you will likely need to purchase multiple packages to cover an area. It can become a bit costly for something that seems insignificant, however, I do highly recommend if you are considering this item. You can move it around in different shapes/sizes, from room to room, and use it for endless purposes. For these reasons it is worth the money every time!!
