   A definite need!
   I kept getting my sensor snagged on door facings and my sheets in bed, so I’d accidentally rip them off. The sensors are SOOO expensive if you are purchasing out of pocket! Someone suggested a cover and I thought these looked very sturdy. They definitely are and are soooo worth the money. I cannot apply them by myself but I just find someone to help at work. They are waterproof for the beach, swimming, etc. I have had to reapply a new one once bc one did start peeling off after an extremely sweaty day but well worth the money!

   I highly recommend!These are as promised- in regards to comfort, application, and endurance. Durable water protection also.Other products: I don’t miss having to reapply every 3 to 5 days because plastic was pealing! Much better than other products Ive tried!

   CG sensor doesn’t pop off
   This patch works really well to keep my sensor on. I was using a system of large cloth bandaids and clear covers and they did not have the adhesive power of this patch. I’ve used two patches now and I’m not catching them on door frames anymore. I’ve previously had 3 fall off due to moisture and door frames. I feel very confident these will stay on despite my sweatiness and clumsiness. I would recommend to others.

   TOO Sticky!
   This definitely does its job but I cannot get all the adhesive off of my moms arm a d it accumulates patch after patch. I put oil on and wipe it but it won’t come off.

   Works okay
   We go swimming often. This patch lasts about 7 days before I have to replace it because it’s mostly falling off. First few days after application, the stickiness is quite strong but obviously wears down over time. I wouldn’t even mind replacing it every 7 days but I seem to have developed an allergic reaction to them…I’m itching terribly underneath the patch (but not under my sensor) so it’s definitely the patch itself

   TOO WATER PROOF! THEY MAY MAKE YOUR SENSOR FAIL.
   I am writing this review on the Flexd – Freestyle Waterproof Sensor Covers. I’m an active senior. I swim, work on vintage cars, always bumping around building things. I have knocked off a few sensors before I started using adhesive patches. I have tried 3 or 4 different ones from Amazon trying to find a patch that lasts more than 2-3 days before it starts to peel away. I am sure part of the issue is swimming and showering on the adhesive.I saw these Flexd – Freestyle Waterproof Sensor Covers and they have a water proof outer layer. That seems like it would solve all the problems I have been having. I bought them.The adhesive is very good. I had great performance for the first 7 or 8 days, no peeling off, seem to be very water tight. Then on day 8 or 9 the sensor started going bad, giving low readings. Then it failed.I replaced the sensor and again applied the Flexd – Freestyle Waterproof Sensor Covers adhesive patch. Again after 7 or 8 days the sensor started to act up. It gave messages that the sensor was not reading, check again in 10 minutes. Then 100% failure. This gets expensive real quick with the expence of these sensors!So, I liked the patch and it is water proof and I know it will stay on for atleast 8 or 9 days. However, it may be so water proof that the body starts to sweat under the patch and this may be causing the adhesive on the sensor to release due to or from forming sweat between the sensor adhesive and the skin thus making the sensor starts to slide or move around under the patch and the reader strip of the sensor that is embedded into the skin may pull out of the skin even though the patch is still attached well.So after two half life cycles of the sensors I will send these Flexd – Freestyle Waterproof Sensor Covers back. Apparently they seal too well on me. I will go back to the breathable type and just get my usual 3 to 5 days before needing to replace them.I will try to obtaine a refund.Marc E.

   They fit perfectly
   They work really well for keeping your sensor in place and enhance the waterproofing of the sensor at least 60%. Highly recommend if you need to rely on accurate CGM readings.
