Works great so far, pleasantly surprised! A few “I wish” issues, but nice slices+value= I’ll deal!
Overall experience after one use slicing pastrami: A nice choice if cost and space is an issue, and if you can adjust to using it for smaller cuts of meat. For example, in order to slice a pastrami, I had to half it first with the grain, then square off the ends so that the gripper/pusher could hold the meat securely while slicing. The actual slicing was great, not too noisy, smooth cutting, and easy slice thickness adjustment. Pluses for me are the easy blade removal and replacement (press in blade center and tab raises to turn and lock or unlock blade), great suction- held 100% on counter, and thoroughly happy with slices. Minuses that I felt could have been better even in this price and size range were 1) the slider tray is not removeable, 2) the slider tray is plastic and not one solid piece for easier cleaning. 3)The food carriage handle that supports the pusher could have been longer to give more stability to the pusher/gripper while the cut of meat is still longer, so you have to pay attention to maintaining a steady, even grip along the pusher. All in all, it did a great job, I’m happy with it, but a few little design tweeks could make it a 5 star mighty mite!

I Absolutely Love This Slicer. I Should Have Bought One A Long Time Ago.
After watching and reading tons and tons of reviews I decided to purchase this specific slicer. For me, this is perfect for my needs and has been a game-changer when it comes to slicing meats. It has plenty power and is simple to use and clean. So far I have used it to slice up pork roll (itâs not Taylor Ham) and pork chops. I go to Samâs Club and buy the long logs of pork roll and then I slice it up into small individual portions to freeze for future use. It cuts extremely quick and evenly. I also buy large pork loins and make thinly cut pork chops out of it. I bought a loin for under $20 and was able to get 33 half inch pork chops out of it. This has saved me so much money that it quickly paid for itself. Again, this is the perfect home deli slicer for me and if your intentions are similar to mine, donât hesitate, buy yourself one. You wonât be sorry.

Pro’s and Con’s For Sure – Missing Our Desired Features – Quiet Operation
This meat and cheese slicer seems to be well built and sturdy enough to provide a good cutting operation on meats and cheeses per the instructions. With most meats, you’ll want to semi-freeze them to have a more firm product to cut whereas with cheeses, you’ll want to do the same for the softer cheeses. For us, we began our review by slicing up some firm colby jack cheese.The slicer is heavy and comes with 4 very well designed suction cup feet. The machine held firm and didn’t even begin to move during operation. The cord is about 3′ long and worked well for our needs. Before I forget, the manual that comes with this slicer is (by today’s standards) AWESOME. Nearly perfect english and easy to understand communication. Bravo!!!Operation was smooth and quiet. The motor never tried to bog down or change pitch. It was a steady purr and the blade sliced through the cheese like we were expecting. All in all, a good machine for slicing product.So why the 3 stars? Basically because of the lacking features that would make us want to buy these as gifts. First of all, the sliding tray has a plastic tube that rides on the guide rod. This is not a smooth action and if this were not being used for food, it would have received a dose of WD-40. It creates a bit of drag that when used as a sled to move product along and into a cutting blade, it should be very smooth and not cause uneasy thoughts when pushing toward the blade. Along these same lines, this appears to be a solid rod, closed at both ends, with no way to remove the sled for cleaning. The sled must be left attached to the cutting machine and thus, it must be washed on the surface near the sink, using a wash rag, towel, and never dunked or easily scrubbed. This appears to be a design flaw/omission and is a major drawback to using the machine.The blades themselves do remove easily and in a very safe manner. I’ve included some photos to show how thin we sliced some cheese as well as the parts that I believe are going to be displeasing to clean every time. Honestly, this may discourage use of the machine in the future.If anything changes, I’ll update the review but for now, Cheerz

Works pretty good at slicing
But the plastic handle to hold meat is kinda a joke. You really have to hold it in place to keep meat in place.But not bad for the price I guess.

Best product we have bought yet!!!!!
We debated about buying a meat slicer, we were afraid we would never use after once, afraid it would be hard to clean, hard to get in and out, too many pieces. We were pleasantly surprised, it is easy to clean, not heavy and bulky, it sticks great to any surface for safety and I can’t tell you have much we have saved slicing our meat but also some of the great meals we have prepared having this. Its a great deal!!!!

Worked for 5 minutes then started smoking
When I saw this slicer, I was excited to start using it for jerkey slicing. It arrived in undamaged packing. I set it up the same day it arrived. Set up was easy and able to clean slicer quickly before first use. 2 lbs of beef round was cut in half and one half placed on slider plate. Adjustment of the slice thickness was easy. After about 5 minutes of use, I noticed the blade slowed and I started smelling smoke. I continued for another slice and then I visibly saw smoke. That was enough for me to pack it up and get a refund.
