Waterproof light and comfortable
I bought this jacket for a hike in Mount Rainier national park just in case it rained. It rained for three straight days. This jacket with my light fleece under it kept my upper body warm and dry. I didnât opt for the rain pants but used a rain kilt instead. I am very happy with the weight and performance. It has a loose fit which helps with ventilation. I live in Utah so for most hikes I donât need a raincoat. If I lived in the Northwest I would invest in an expensive raincoat for hiking but for my purpose this was just right. I highly recommend this with the caveat that you should not expect durability. Light, cheap and effective is a good characterization.

At last I have found the perfect rain jacket !
I have been looking for a good, lightweight, breathable, waterproof rain jacket for quite a while now ! Even though I haven’t had it out in the rain yet I know I am going to like it ! I did wear it over bare skin for 4-5 hours to test the breathability – no moisture buildup whatsoever ! I am 5’11” 160 lbs and the medium is perfect – will fit over a reasonable amount of clothing – even another jacket if I need it !

FROGG TOGGS Men’s Ultra-lite2 Waterproof Breathable Rain Jacket
The FROGG TOGGS Men’s Ultra-lite2 Waterproof Breathable Rain Jacket has been a reliable addition to my outdoor gear. It’s incredibly lightweight, making it easy to pack and carry on hikes, camping trips, or just to have on hand for unexpected rain. Despite its lightness, the jacket offers solid waterproof protection. I’ve been caught in heavy rain a few times while wearing it, and it kept me completely dry.Breathability is another plus. Unlike other rain jackets that leave you feeling sticky and sweaty, this one does a good job of keeping you comfortable, even during physical activity. I didnât experience the dreaded clammy feeling that often comes with rain gear. The only downside is the sizing. The jacket runs a bit larger than expected, so you may want to consider ordering a size down if you prefer a more fitted look. However, the looser fit does allow for layering underneath, which is useful in colder weather.Overall, if you’re looking for a budget-friendly, packable, and effective rain jacket, the FROGG TOGGS Ultra-lite2 is a great choice. Just be mindful of the sizing!

THE Poncho to Have
This is an incredible item at an incredible price. I highly recommend it.Someone broke into my basement and stole my backpack with all my camping gear in it. Accordingly, because I hike an awful lot in all sorts of weather, I needed a new poncho. When I went online, I was overwhelmed with all the choices. I was also flabbergasted at the prices for a poncho (!) I called my son, who also hikes the AT, and he immediately recommended Frogg Toggs. Helene was on its way, so I hit âpurchaseâ and the package arrived the next day. I have worn my new poncho three times this week in torrential rain. I swear by it, and I am going to buy several others (which you can easily and inexpensively do at this incredibly low price) for my car and my office and any other place I can think of. Lightweight, comfortable, repels water, and the blue I bought is highly visible in the rain to cars and people. Nuff said. Buy one.

Decent rain coat.
This raincoat did a great job of keeping me dry, but it ripped at the seam my 3rd time wearing it.

Light weight.
It is lightweight and the dimensions are big enough to cover your coat. The hoodie works well and the zipper is good. This is lightweight so if you hook it on something it will tear. This is what I wanted. I would buy it again.

Full of holes
The jacket arrived new in original packaging. I purchased it because the word-of-mouth in the backpacking community was VERY good. Waterproof, breathable, extremely lightweight, and inexpensive.I wore it to work the next day. I noticed a weird crease on the back and when I turned it around I could see a hole on the inside. As I held it up to examine it more closely, the light from the window behind showed several more holes. There were holes in the fabric AND the seams. If this what quality control looks like at Frog Toggs, I donât want any part of it.

ALWAYS TRAVELS WITH US
If you are looking for a very lightweight jacket that won’t take up room in your suitcase, this is perfect for you. We bought the complete suit (pants and jacket) over 10 years ago for each of us. The sets have had multiple trips all over the world and are wonderful to pull out when weather gets bad. My husband’s jacket finally wore out but pants were still good so I was so glad to see I could just order the matching jacket.Whether you have the jacket or full set, they fold down into a small packet (included). We will never travel anywhere in the world without our Frogg Toggs.Let’s be honest: they are not fashion statements. They are work horses for bad weather without being heavy. When the weather is cool, they are even roomy enough to go over jackets or sweaters but a perfect weight for warmer climates. We have worn them when it was raining on the great wall of China, on ferries or ships with wind and rain; actually everywhere in many climates in Europe. We stayed completely dry when others around us were soaked. They are roomy so you can order your actual size which lets you wear them in any climate situation; cold or warm.We actually keep an extra set in our golf bags for inclement weather when we travel in the States. You will never regret buying Frogg Toggs. For the price, they are truly a bargain — and a life savior.

Not a rain jacket. It had one job to do, just keep the rain out , but it failed miserably.

So lightweight… But fragile. It’s my second one but… breathable and protects you from the rain.Just be careful with everything surrounding you.Fits LARGE!!! So go a size under if you want it less loose.5.8oz on my scale. (MEDIUM)

Purchased for a canoe trip, had rain 2 days on the river and this kept me dry. Works great.

i used it in the rain of my rooftop for 15 minutes. The lack of a waist elastic cord let all the wind come thru.no pockets.Overall is knida just ok if you plan to use it once or twice in the woods and then dispose of it.
