Graphics are cartoonish
This seems to be holding on to 20 year old technology. The map it comes with does not show as a topo, but instead as a very plain background with streets. Garmin is living in the past without a standard satellite view preloaded. The screen shots on the Amazon page were MIA while I was trying to sort all this out. Loading maps is a highly convoluted process with more esoteric yoyo’s for software than should ever be required.Garmin, you should be better than this. Plus, don’t expect a quick refund on your return. Garmin will milk it for as long as possible. They don’t seem to care what’s being said about them.

A Great GPSr
This GPSr is very accurate to within 6ft worldwide. It has use of 5 of the 6 GNSS Satellite systems. (Chinese BDS one not available.) You can add maps, routes, geocaches, waypoints, and tracks to your hearts content. The 64sx will get you within 14ft while it is 6ft with this GPSr. In canyons, tall buildings, trees this GPSr keeps hold of the signal. The price varies from $349 to $399. You’ll have to set it up for your needs as it has a lot of choices and settings. Uses same protective screen as previous models. You can’t go wrong with this GPSr.

I had an old etrek I couldnât update. It was small and black and white. I love the bigger screen size. I can see it. Plus, updated maps. My old one was 13 yrs old and served itâs purpose.

Arrived in a REFURBISHED box even though advertised as NEWWorked 6 months with no great improvement over my 15-year-old Garmin 78sNow it only runs for 25 minutes on new batteries — but the “dead” batteries still work for hours in my my 15-year old Garmin 78sUpdated the software and rebooted deleting all my data — and still doesn’t work on new batteries.Too much hassle for a product advertized as NEW and sold at NEW prices
