   Comfortable and reasonably priced.
   I ride much less than I used to. I have two of these now to switch back and forth if I ride on consecutive days. This is a good brand and the specs are spot on. Buy the right size and it will fit very well and be comfortable all day.

   This Helmet Probably Saved My Life
   An update to my earlier review: I had an accident two weeks ago, striking head first into asphalt at about 17 mph, landing in a crumpled heap with the bike on top of me. The helmet foam was dented and cracked and the plastic shell badly scuffed. I had some bruising on my head from the hard contact with the inside of the helmet but that was nothing compared to other injuries of my shoulder and other body parts not as well protected. The helmet absorbed the impact and prevented what would surely have been a concussion and serious damage to my head. The helmet stayed on and protected my whole head including my face. My glasses came off but weren’t crushed or bent. The degree of protection for the severity of impact was remarkable. I bought another Giro Isode to replace it.Earlier review:I was hesitant to buy a helmet online without trying it on first, but I couldn’t get to my LBS and I really needed a new helmet after a minor accident with the old one. This one is light and fits securely and is well ventilated. I ride a hybrid bike for fitness on rides less than two hours in a hot and humid place, mostly on trails where quick undistracted head movement is important. My hatband circumference is about 58 cm (23″) and I don’t think this would fit anyone with a much bigger head, but at 58 cm it feels just right.

   Haven’t had a problem.
   It’s fits very nicely on pretty much anyone unless you have a GINORMOUS head. It feels good. Most of all, and the only reason to wear it, it keeps you safe.

   Great Helmet for the Price, Except That Strap Loop!
   Giro helmets score well on the Virginia Tech testing lab ratings, so I was looking for one more in tune with my very casual (52 years old, overweight, casual exercise) riding habits. It is lightweight, and its quality construction compares to others at this price point. I also ordered a BELL Formula LED MIPS, and the two helmets could have come off of the same assembly line.As other reviewers have pointed out, this “universal adult” helmet will not fit those with larger heads or a lot of hair. I wear a 7-5/8 fitted baseball cap, and it barely fits on the largest adjustment. Others complain about the appearance, but that is not a concern of mine. As a child of the 1970’s I did most of my riding without a helmet. As a responsible parent today I will accept looking like a dork.The thing I like least about it is the interior strap attachment. The strap goes through a loop up at the crown of the head (pictured) and that leaves a bump that is noticeable but not particularly uncomfortable. It feels like someone left a small wad of tissue up on the top of your helmet. All helmets have something like this, but I think on the nicer ones it is inside the final layer of protection so you don’t feel it. Not a deal breaker for me. Will still use it.

   Nice Helmet
   This is a nice helmet for the price. I don’t have much to compare it to but I find it very comfortable and I like that it has the adjustment in the back. Overall a very nice helmet for the price.I can’t comment on the level of protection but I believe it will do its job.

   Good quality
   I have had this helmet for close to 8 months and it shows to be good quality. Lightweight but sturdy when it comes to protection (found that out after a fall from my bicycle). Great fit and easy to clean.

   Great helmet for a growing child
   We really like this helmet. This is the second time we order , just in a larger size since we have a growing kid. Love how easy it is to adjust as needed , even he can do it on his own. Fits great, he really like the ventilation that it provides and its nice and light. Will be repurchasing as needed.
