Nice kit, but wires need to be longer (no instructions in box)
This light kit doesn’t come with any instructions or diagrams (not that it’s difficult or complex to install, if you’ve done any sort of wiring in the past) but make sure you save some of the pictures on the product page that show everything since they don’t include anything in the box. I haven’t yet installed this but can tell that some of the power leads are a bit short than desired – depending on how you’re going to run these. As with anything similar, it’s good to sort of lay these out where you plan to place them before actually installing to make sure you have enough wire length to reach everywhere.

It looks so cool.
This light kit is such a fun way to upgrade my golf cart. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the app makes it easy to change the modes. The sound reactive feature is such a cool touch, especially when I am cruising around. The tubes were easy to install, and I like that they are water resistant, so I donât have to stress about the weather. It is a great way to add some personality and make the cart special.

Lights came thrown in a box with no directions. Huge mess and for $100 not worth it.

Planning the install is KEY!
Depending on the unit you purchase (number of lights) you will need to plan the install carefully. The roof lights MUST terminate with the wire at the front of the Golf Cart and come down along the windshield or you will not have enough cable to reach the control box. Why 4 stars? Cheapy cable ties, wires that are just barely long enough and the power supply wires not long enough. Otherwise the lights work well and are either very functional or cool, depending on how you look at it. I did install with an off/on switch to prevent battery drain. Otherwise all good, but don’t rely on the tape, use the wire ties to ensure your lights won’t fall off.

Good Features, but Not as Bright as I Hoped
Iâve installed a few LED kits on powersports vehicles and motorcycles before, so I kind of knew what to expect. This kit works well overall, but the lights arenât as bright as others Iâve used. If youâre looking for super bright LEDs, this might not be the best choice.On the plus side, the kit is easy to work with. The light strips are long enough to cover a golf cart, and the app is really simple to use. It connects fast and has tons of cool features. You can change the colors, add animations, and even sync the lights to music so they flash along with the beat.All in all, Iâd give it four stars. Itâs a solid kit with a great app, but I wish the lights were a bit brighter.
