Does what it is intended for
This vise works well for me. I just needed something to use when regripping clubs. For that, it works fine. I wish the base was a little wider so you could get the mounting screws in easier, but I made it work.

Buy the grips to them yourself. It’s easy with a tool like this. Just don’t overtite them. It doesn’t take much pressure to hold the shaft.
