I love it. It does get super hot on the sauté setting. Heats up fast too. The insert Cleans up super easy too with the non-stick. Can go on stove top and the oven. I havenât tried that yet.Itâs attractive on the counter. The buttons seem a bit on the cheap side when you push them. Other than that. Itâs a great companion for my kitchen.

Omg love at first use.
I came upon this while searching for a new slow cooker because the insert for my last one cracked big time. I thought about it for a couple days and I am so happy that I purchased this baby approved by my husband. I got the black and gold one and it’s so pretty.So easy to clean. It’s dishwasher safe but I don’t even need to use the dishwasher to clean it. The lid is just as easy to clean. All by hand.It’s lightweight so I can carry it in one hand when empty.Leftovers slide right out into my caraway storage. Nothing sticks to this gem of an appliance.It beeps 3 times when cooktime is finished and then switches to warm. My last one was a manual so it didn’t do that.Don’t have to worry about it cracking like the inserts do for most of the others.So easy to set the temp and time then wait for the beeps when done.Highly recommend. Go buy it right now and you will not regret it.

Cooks great, design issues
I replaced a cuisinart multi cooker with this because the non stick lining started chipping off, twice! They replaced it the first time but the second time I was on my own.So I shopped around and found this one. The only feature I donât like is that the cord is bulky and is supposed to wrap around brackets in back for storage. Not so easy or neat to do. (the cuisinart cord disappeared into the back by an internal spring when done.) Other than that, I love using it and find reasons to do so. The browning feature is great for making soups and stews that require searing the meat ahead of time, and cleanup is a breeze.

Excellent quality and PFAS and PFOS free
I really like this GreenPan elite 6 quart slow cooker. It is PFAS and PFOS free UNLIKE the All Clad 7 quart Slow Cooker which I had purchased and did not know this important information (small print on the box). This GreenPan is worth every penny, easy to use, does an excellent job slowly cooking or warming up something like a honey baked ham. Very easy to clean and its size is perfect for storing in a kitchen cabinet or even leaving it on the counter, which is what I will probably do since I want to cook more beans, soups, stews, etc.

Not worth the money
We bought this slow cooker specifically because it’s chemically the least toxic nonstick, all in one, lightweight cook available.The unit is quite large and takes a lot of space for storage. It is attractive in appearance.Sold & shipped by Amazon usually has a return period of several months but I fell ill for a few weeks & by the time I was able to use the slow cooker for the first time the 30 day return period had expired.Please note the lid does not have a silicone gasket to keep steam inside the pot and produce a quality cooking experience.Neither does the lid have a design that will seat it into the pot for the creation of a water vapor barrier. A lot of steam escapes on sautee/brown simmer setting thereby reducing the quantity of liquid in the pot.The non sealing lid reduces the cooking temperature of the pot & contents even on high slow cook setting and will take hours longer to cook.Even on a slow cook high setting the liquid does not simmer and thus it takes hours longer to cook meat til tender. The only way to get the liquid to simmer is to put the unit on brown/saute which is equal to boiling and is too hot for the desired slow cooking.It is not at all like the old fashioned stoneware cookers where you could throw the food in and go to work for 8 to 10 hours.Knowing the problem with this cooker is the fact the lid has no gasket to create a seal and hold in the heat and liquid, I contacted the manufacturer to inquire of a lid with a gasket. After hours back and forth in email I learned the company does not make a lid with a gasket. This is a design flaw that could easily be overcome with the addition of a gasket on the lid. Not a well thought out design.The price is ridiculous for the performance of the unit. For $40 you can get a large 6 qt. oval stoneware slow cooker that will perform wonderfully. It will also have a locking lid and a zippered pouch so you can carry your food.

Works great!
This is so much better than my old crockpot. This does so much more than just slow cook. Itâs so much easier to clean. I like that the pan is not ceramic like my old one, those eventually crack and leak. That wonât happen with this one. I like all the different cooking options. Itâs nice looking and not heavy.

I purchased this expensive appliance with the hopes it would be a top of the line appliance. Didnât take long and the labels on the button all washed off. Then liquid splashed from the liner down into the bottom and it wonât work. Keeps kicking a code. Lesson learned. Big waste of money
