Basically I suggest you blow dry and or flat iron tour hair, because this is cheap and going to take you forever. It doesnât grip the hair so it does not get straightened. Itâs awful !!!!

Good for Thinner/Finer Hair, not for Thick Hair
Dxliwky Hair Straightener Brush, Ionic Hair Straightening BrushI wanted to love this. I have a clamp-type hair straightener, but that can leave clamp marks. I have a wand, but that’s hard to use and requires 2 hands. I thought this would be the best of both worlds. That I could just pull it through my hair and the “comb” would pull my hair against the heating element. But with my super thick hair, it just doesn’t work well. My wavy, thick hair doesn’t stay down in the comb part unless I use my 2nd hand and use it like a wand.But i think this would work well for someone with finer hair – so am giving it 4 stars.PROS: Nice weight/feel to it. Heats quickly. Swivel Cord. Looks classy. Easy off/on/temperature buttons. Dual voltage for when I travel. Relatively small – also good for travel (some are so bulky!)

Temp settings are off and it’s a bit of a pain to use
The first thing I noticed is that even with it all the way up in temp it didn’t seem to keep a constant temp. Sometimes it was hot and then other times the heat seemed to lower considerably, making me have to go several passes to get results.Does it work? Yes. And it did make beautiful curls in my hair. It works better for this than using it to straighten my hair. When straightening my hair, it wasn’t sleek and smooth but frizzy and unruly. For curling and directing hair for a certain look it does best.It’s a bit of a pain for me to use on my thicker hair. The sections have to be very thin otherwise it’s a pain to get the hair in the slots for any hair to get some heat. Even with smaller, thinner sections, I find I kind of have to help my hair into the slots. It’s just time consuming and I can work much more quickly with a different tool with the same results.It does heat up quickly but, again, the heat doesn’t remain constant and fluctuates greatly.

This really does a great job of straightening my hair. I like how easy this is to use – just brush your hair like you would do with a hairbrush, and it comes out straight. You may have to go over it a few times depending on your hair type. I have fine, thin type of hair strands so it practically took one or two brushes to be sleek straight. It heats up pretty quickly and you can adjust the temperature with the mini LED screen. The swivel cord is always a great design, making it easier to use. I can’t believe how much these hair straighteners have gone down in price. This is is so affordable and wow, it cost as much as a plain plastic hairbrush!
