   Takes a second to get the hang of it, but I like it! Less damage and more bounce to my hair.
   This really looks and feels more high end! The box is nice and sturdy and everything was wrapped in a light plastic sheath when I opened the box. The cord is long but not so long it gets in the way on the counter and it swivels which is an absolute must in any hair care device for me. I wish I could describe the feel of this hair straightener brush better. It’s like that super soft feel you get with name brands. It just feels good to hold this. It’s not too heavy so it didn’t make my arms tired. It also comes with a cloth bag to store it in and a glove to protect your hand but I’ve never used it.This has 5 temperature settings which is nice and the negative ion technology means it does not make my hair frizzy. (You may hear a little buzzing sound when this is on, but it has a sticker that says this is normal so don’t be alarmed, just fyi.)This took a second for me to get used to because I was expecting it to work more like a straightener where it puts tension on the hair when you pull it through. I have curly hair that is wavy after I blow dry it. I didn’t expect this to slide through my hair so easily. It may work a bit better if you have curly dry hair and wanted to straighten it. Or if you have a tighter curl pattern. For me, I grab a piece of hair and start this on the underside at the base of my head, using my other hand to hold the ends of my hair tight while it works it’s magic. Without that bit of tension holding the ends, this just slides through my hair too quickly for it to straighten with one pass. It does get hot though so by all means do not overdo it! I wasn’t sure I’d like this about it, but honestly it’s been my go to for a week now and I have a blow dryer round brush and a traditional straightener. Even though I have to hold the hair while I brush this through, I feel like it’s much less damaging and my hair looks healthier. I was noticing a lot of breakage from my straightener and blow dryer brush pulling the hair until it snaps. With this, you control the tension. This also doesn’t leave my hair stick straight and flat like a straightener does and you can work a nice little curl in too. It’s stupid, but I’m in sales and sadly I feel like natural curly hair just doesn’t get viewed as having the same level of professionalism as straightened or curling iron hair. So I usually wash my hair and straighten it so it’s less of a hassle in the mornings and I don’t have to wash it every day. This straightening brush is perfect for refreshing your hair. Definitely worth $45.

   Easy to use
   This brush is a game changer. I have curly hair and always struggle to straighten it and keep it straight for even a few hours. This one has been really effective and easy to use.

   This Hair Straightener Brush, Umitec Hot Straightening Comb Thermal Brush for Women with Negative Ions is just the ticket for banishing frizz!I like using it on my natural (with higher heat) and synthetic (lowest setting) extensions to smooth the ends and the inevitable snarls and frizz that come with wearing extension hair.While it works great as a straightener, you can also use it to make a nice wave with some wrist action.The combs do a great job of holding the hair and smoothing.Heat stays nicely even throughout an hour of work before the automatic shut-off.Heats up quickly.I have a few of these in the travel size, but am grateful for a plug-in version, as I sometimes get a pile of extensions out to work on while I watch TV, and the battery operated combs don’t always last as long as my pile of snarly hair. This one goes the distance!Built very well – the kind of hair tool you’ll have on your vanity in years to come.Easy to use, and the positioning of the buttons is perfect – no accidental upping the temps.Very, very happy, and feel like I found just the right hair tool that works reliably and one I can count on to take me from frizz to pretty in very little time.

   Maybe it’s just me…
   This appears to by a high quality hair straightener brush. It seems to heat up just fine. But I’m new to this type of hot tool, so keep that in mind.I have fine/thin long hair. Has a little bit of wave in the back if I let it air dry. I was hoping this would straighten/smooth out my hair. Don’t know why, but it just doesn’t seem to work for me.I set it to the appropriate heat for my hair type and slowly comb thru (over & over). Even run it underneath my hair. Just doesn’t seem to make much of a difference. Wondering if my hair is too fine? No idea. I’ll keep working at it to see if I can make this work for me (w/o cranking the heat up to the point of causing damage). I did hear some light sizzling sounds the first time using it. That was a bit concerning to say the least. I’ll keep a close eye (ear) on that as I continue to use this brush.All in all, I’m not really sure how I feel about this hot tool. We are all different, with varying hair types. Your experience may not be the same as mine.

   good for everyday use
   I ordered the Hair Straightener Brush, and I absolutely loved it. The brush is the perfect shade of pink. Plus, it comes in a nice box, so you could gift it if you wanted to. When using this brush, you need to keep in mind that straightening brushes never get your hair pin straight. I have wavy hair that tangles easily. After I brush out the tangles, I get poofy straight hair. First, I spray my hair with a heat protectant and then use this brush. The puffiness is gone, and my hair is flatter. You can use it for everyday use. It doesn’t pull hair, as long as you remember to detangle it before using the brush. The brush straightens quickly and easily with its five temperatures and auto shut-off. The brush is not heavy and does not damage my hair, so I recommend it.
