Kind of addicting
Was really intrigued to try this out. I’ve tried eye massagers and a back massager before, but never a hand massager. It works similar to some of the eye massagers I’ve tried, utilizing little air bag like things that pump up and deflate to massage your hand.It fits my hands very well. I find it interesting that somehow it fit either hand easily. The massaging part is interesting. I wasn’t sure what to think at first, as the first time I tried it is felt like it was cutting off circulation in my fingers and hand rather than promoting circulation. My fingers also felt very cold after using it.I tried it again today though and liked it much better. It’s actually sort of addicting. I used it for a bit earlier, trying out the different modes on my hands and then used it again hours later. It is rather relaxing and I’m fascinated by how varied the different ‘massage’ ….tequniques (?), maybe ‘squeezes” would be a better word, because that’s more like what it’s doing. I especially like when it pressed down onto the middle top part of my hand, especially with the heat setting on. It does almost feel like someone is pressing down on my hand when it does that. I do wish the heat would be more widespread though, or perhaps that it would be a bit warmer. The palm kneader is interesting, it feels good at first, but I do like that one can turn it off too as sometimes it starts to hurt a bit, though I’m sure it probably does promote circulation! The part I like the least is when it squeezes my fingers, and there doesn’t seem to be a mode where it doesn’t do that. Even on the setting with the least pressure, it still seems like a bit too much, and even just now, upon using it, my fingers were cold afterward. But I admit, that even with the finger squeezing, sometimes I was getting relaxing tingles with that feeling. But when it got too tight… it didn’t exactly hurt, just felt rather uncomfortable. I think it might be improved by putting heated parts over the fingers too, not just the hand, so that the fingers would heat up as well and perhaps more circulation would be promoted. But overall, I do like this massager and will use it again and am planning on having some of my family members try it to see what they think.

Massages your fingers individually! That’s different than others I’ve tried
I have a thing for massagers, eye massagers, back massagers, feet massagers… And this is the third hand massager I have reviewed.I think this is the best of them all because it has some extra features that bump it up a notch. You notice the difference immediately because this hand massager has a Velcro wrist strap that also inflates and massages your wrist! Secondly, when your slide your hand in the massage or you discover there’s a glove like inside, in this massager actually massages each finger individually as opposed to just all the tops and bottoms at once, but no sides of your fingers.Thirdly, this has a rotating bumpy disc at the palm that spins either clockwise or counterclockwise. This isn’t my favorite feature but it is something different and is not at all unpleasant. When the compression is strong, the rotating nubs move slower, slightly. There are two levels of heat, but unfortunately the heat is more in the palm area, when I would appreciate it in the finger area because my fingers are more often cold than my palms. There are six different modes, which are pretty similar, it’s just different rotations of compression on your fingers, palms, wrist, or all at once. There are also six levels of intensity. I like a really strong compression so I usually use level five or six. This is actually portable, I can move around the house with it on my hand. Also, it is easy to turn off if you feel like you need to make a quick stop. Simply long press the center button and it stops immediately.I could find no indication of battery life, so I guess when it needs to be recharged it just dies. There is also no time or that I could figure out.I really like this hand massager, it’s my favorite of the three I’ve tried. Made in China.

Good for hand massager, but looks ugly
There are plenty of the hand massagers on the market. This one has some cons and pros compare to the ones I own or tried before.Cons:1. Each finger has its own space within the boot looking device. There is also a wrist strap to add compression to the entire hand, not just palm.2. There are heat, compression and vibration options 3. Several pre-set combos and buttons to adjust each option, i. e. highly customizable.Cons: I feel I am like Steve Jobs who was complaining on aesthetics of medical devices surrounding him on his death bed – it looks ugly. The shape of a huge black rubber slipper is something the manufacturer should work on to sell it better – there are plenty examples of more attractive similar devices.I still give it 4 stars since it is an overall a good device, just barely giftable due to the unusual and, frankly, not attractive shape and rubbery material.

This model massages each finger.
I love anything that relaxes and renews the body and the Techbody Hand Massager with Heat and Compression did not disappoint. I have tried a couple different hand massagers over the years and while I think they all had their pros and cons; this model appears to have a great combination of all the pros. The unit itself is a sleek and soft sided black unit with the controls easily assessable on the top of the unit. I do like that this hand massager works like a glove in that all the fingers fit inside separate finger holes. Other units I have tried, did not have this feature. When I turned it on you can use all options or just the ones you want. Heat, massage on the palms, or on the fingers. There is a space in the back of the unit for charging and a charger cord is included, but you will need an end block that plugs into a socket. There is a velcro type strap attached to the unit that wraps around the wrist. The strap is not detachable. I suppose it does hold your hand in place. The unit comes with a set of instructions with a diagram of the six different modes. The heat level is either high, low or off. There are a total of six intensity levels and a final button to activate the kneading function. Overall, this is a nice unit. Comes in a sturdy flap top box for easy storing. Product made in China.
