Does the job reasonably well (but there’s a learning curve for beginner’s)
This espresso machine has a sleek look. It doesn’t take up a lot of counter space, is light and easy to move around, and has some suction cups on the bottom to help hold it in place. The instruction manual is comprehensive and for the most part fairly clear. Still, a link to video instructions on use of the machine would be very helpful. It takes some practice to get it working to your own tastes (e.g. amount of ground coffee and milk). Also, some things I found more difficult than I would have expected.1) Switching between the single cup and double cups coffee filter. They install very tightly in the filter holder. With some patience, you can spin the filter around to properly line things up for removal, but you still need to pry it out. This is problematic when you have just used it to make espresso and it’s still hot.2) You have to turn quite hard to get the filter holder attached to the machine properly. If it isn’t tight enough, water/coffee will leak from the sides of the filter holder rather than being forced through the filter. To get the filter properly tightened, you’ll have to use your free hand to hold the machine in place. (The suction cups are insufficiently strong to hold the machine in place for this task.) And you’ll need to do this without touching the metal cup warmer on top which can burn your hand.3) After making a cup of espresso and using the steamer, the machine temperature is too hot to immediately make a second cup. I found this meant I had to wait a few minutes for the temperature to drop.4) The machine doesn’t come with a milk frothing pitcher, something you will need to separately buy if you want to properly froth milk.Overall, this product does the job reasonably well. But not having previously owned one, I’m uncertain if some of its quirks are unique or shared with similar products.

Excellent espresso. A a bit of a learning curve to grind size and milk frother for this firt-timer
I’m a newbie to espresso machines and milk frothing with a steam/pump frother. And for me it’s a huge learning curve. What I’ve learned with this machine: it can make a really good cup of espresso. The pre-ground, Latin espresso from the local grocery store is too fine; this machine likes a grind between regular and espresso grind, tamped once or twice. It doesn’t like to be tamped hard unless using a regular grind, in which case I use dark roasted regular. Also, it takes a bit of strength to get the brew basket ? whatever the gizmo is that has the handle – into place. My significant other explained to me that the machine works under pressure like a pressure cooker, and the way to get a good seal requires some muscle power. It is NOT anywhere near as easy as those one touch, pod machines. So you may be wrestling with it a little bit. Also, the best way to get the ultimate cup of espresso (or double espresso, for a latte) is to do a wet run before you make the first cup, or so says the instruction manual, and they are right That means to just run the machine with no coffee, only water. It goes up to 203 degrees, so it doesn’t scald the coffee grounds.I’m having a hard time with the frother. I think it’s operator error – me. I’m accustomed to nuking my milk and then using a hand frother, which always makes perfect results. This frother is powerful – goes up to 266 degrees F to make steam- and then starts making a bump-bump-bump sound as the pressure continues to build and pump out steam. It works as it should. It’s me (I think) that just cannot get the milk to froth like my microwave milk. So I had to order a frothing milk pitcher (separately) because I understand there’s a magic to all this, from the shape of the pitcher to the angle it’s held at and everything in-between.The instruction manual is quite thorough and I had zero problems understanding it.With this unit selling at a current price of $79.99 (with $50- discount!) it’s a really, really good deal, especially to open up the world of espresso machines and see if it’s something that interests you.

Very nice exspresso machine
We haven’t had a chance to use this machine yet but it looks very nice. (Going to open it for Christmas.) The packaging was well done and protected all of the components. It came with everything listed, no problems. Instructions are pretty clear. All of the components are good quality and the unit overall is solid and well thought out. I really like that it doesn’t take up a ton of space like other models and I like the simple layout, I don’t want to have to take a course to figure out how to make a coffee. Looks great, looks simple to use and clean. Very happy.

Espresso machine
The espresso machine looks nice and doesnât take up too much room. Unfortunately, my machine arrived looking like it was previously used and returned. The drip tray had watermarks on it (as pictured). I attempted to use it anyways. The espresso always turns out weak. I tried the single and double espresso. I tried different coffee grinds. I used a heavier weighted tamper than the flimsy plastic one that came with it. It always brews very weak. I got better results from my $35 Mr. Coffee espresso maker. The milk frother is also difficult to use and very loud. Overall, I do not recommend this machine, especially at its price point.

Decent Machine
This product functions well, if not being a bit poorly explained. Attaching the handle is a bit stiffer than it maybe should be, but over time Im sure it will loosen up. The milk steamer works but not as well as other products I’ve tried previously . Despite that it brews coffee a really good cup of coffee.
