In my opinion, this is a very specific headlamp. It does have two types of lights, a flood and spot. The flood is the primary feature, which works well. For instance, if you’re working in a vehicle or working something within arms reach, this works well. The spot light is good and usable, but doesn’t work as well as the flood feature due to it’s orientation. It is placed on the side of the band and does have an obstruction since it’s on the side of your head. It can placed on either side of your head, but your head will block the opposite side of your peripheral view.As for comfort, this thing is so light you will forget it’s on. It’s very light and doesn’t create any feelings of weight like other headlamps. I am very impressed with this.The build is primarily made of silicon/rubber, which I don’t see lasting very long. It seems it would be resilient to outdoor or mechanical work, but I can see over time it may not last. I did not deduct any stars as I have not experienced this, but be mindful that this may be a potential issue.Overall, this is a good product, but more for casual use or home use. Although marketed for outdoor use, I believe there are better suited headlamps (albeit more expensive) for outdoor use. That being said, this product shines for home use especially in working in places where you’re not exposed to outdoor environments or where the product is not exposed to extreme temperatures and/or ruggedness. This product can be used in so many different applications at home. At this price point, this is a good value.Overall, I would recommend this product as long as it’s used in the appropriate environment. Features and value is good for home or light outdoor use.

This light packs a punch. My husband is a electrician in a factory. He said this fits easily on his hard-hat, is feather lite, charges quick and is super bright. He says this light is a great value for the price.

Very comfortable and bright.
I am an automotive technician of over 38 years and have so many different lights that I have lost count. These lights are very comfortable and bright. The only thing is that it could use a battery that has a little more life from a full charge. Also side light works well, but if you wear glasses… it is almost useless because it shines into to back of your eyeglasses and blinds you vision from right eye. That’s not as big of a deal as the battery life to me though. I just don’t use the side light.. great product, just needs a longer life battery between charges. Thanks.

Very short battery life but plenty bright while it lasts
It’s a very comfortable light which works well in a variety of conditions. The big problem is it has a relatively short working time. I have yet to get 2 hours even at the lower illumination using the row of front led’s. Working under the car is great since it doesn’t get in the way and fully illuminates your work area. Working in the attic is also great. I am glad I bought two of these so I can change out one when the battery goes dead. They also take a very long time to charge and often the green fully charged indicator is still partially red, even overnight. This may indicate a bad battery, but both headlights do the same thing. I’m still happy with them since I’m older and they cause me to stop working for a while every few hours, but in reality a normal working person would be pretty crabby working in the dark after only a couple of hours. Cool idea that just needs some work. Perhaps I’ll retrofit a larger battery myself if needs arise. Oh and the motion detection is goofy and detects walking under a rafter for instance as a motion to turn on or shut off, and under the car it constantly is switching on and off because you are so close to everything.

Favorite headlamp
Got for boyfriend for Christmas his absolute favorite thing he got. Itâs so bright! He loves the no touch on and off feature because mechanic hands. The charge lasts forever. Weâve had them for months and maybe charged twice. Great for outdoor work, hiking, camping. I am going to buy more for back up just because we love them. Need a boy gift? Get these!!

Wow!!!! Better than expected! Bought a year ago as a present for a mechanic, he also used to load his wood burner at night. He raved so much about them that I bought myself a set to use when hand stitching. Motion activated is very handy!!!
