Awesome product
I bought this for my son. He is a pitcher on a local menâs traveling baseball team. (He also plays on three menâs softball teams) In between innings he likes to keep his shoulder warm. During the cooler days of the season that can be hard to do with just a coat sleeve so I decided to give this to him for Christmas. Spring training started a couple weeks ago and he has used it a few times. He told me that it is the greatest and most effective device he has ever used. He says it warms up quickly and stays consistently warm while itâs in use. He even likes the massage feature because it helps with soreness and blood flow to the muscles. He says he has recommended it to his teammates and now they have bought one for themselves. Great product. Highly recommended and suggested for all of those who play baseball, softball or any sport that requires a lot of arm and shoulder movement.

Pretty good overall
The heat is very effective (for me at least) even on it’s lowest setting. The “massage effect” is really just something vibrating/buzzing inside, causing a vibrating effect, and didn’t really make a favorable impression on me. The retaining bands must be somewhat tight to get the effect of the product, but the velcro leaves something to be desired; I’m about ready to set it to my desired setting and then staple that back one so it doesn’t come loose anymore. If you move around a lot while wearing it, it tends to rotate down onto the front of your shoulder, so probably best to wear it when you’re not being very active. I have to look in the mirror to work the controls, otherwise I can’t see them. Battery lasts longer than I thought it would, which I certainly appreciate.

Disappointed- doesnât fit
I really really wanted to like this and have it work⦠But no matter how much adjusting, I could not get it to fit and be close to my skin enough to feel any warmth.The heating elements seem to be like little pinpoints, so it never really heated / provided warmth to my whole shoulder (or the areas that needed it).While my old school heating pad wrapped around my shoulder doesnât allow much movement, at least itâs effective and warms the area as needed.

Nor what you expect
First let me just say, this was not as I expected. It does not massage at all. It only has a high and low vibration. I was expecting the rolling deep tissue massage. The best thing about the product is the heat. The heat is perfect. For the price, I had high expectations; disappointed. I decided not to return it because of the heat option. One other thing, it’s loud.Sorry, but I wouldn’t recommend this product. Check around for a massager.

I got this product because it was described to be good for frozen shoulders. It does nothing of the kind, First of all, it’s advertised as having 3 massage settings, low, medium and high. That’s not true. The only difference in the massage settings is the rhythm of the vibration. There is a long vibrate which is supposed to be low. There is a continuous short vibration which is the medium; and finally a vibration that is a combination of the first two which I guess is the high setting. They all vibrate with the same intensity. Traditional massaging vibrators increase in intensity at you go up in settings.There are only 2 vibrating units in the device. Both are tiny and in positions that really don’t work on the effected muscle. When you put on the “massager” one is positioned between you neck and collar bone; the other is between the side of you shoulder and the back of your shoulder. At least that’s how it sits on me when I put it on. The vibrating massage isn’t effect at these positions. If you’ve ever had a frozen shoulder, you know the pain starts in your shoulder blade near the center of your spine, moves into your rotator cup and shoots down your arm. This device have any vibrating mechanism in the back, so you won’t be able to work on the source of your pain. There are also no mechanisms in the lower portion of the sleeve to pinpoint lower arm pain.The manufacturer also claims it will work on neck pain. As you can see from the photograph on the product page, the massager does come near your neck. This thing needs a serious redesign. It should have at least 6 vibrating mechanisms; 1 in the front, 1 in the back, 2 on the side and 2 for the lower are region.The only good thing to say about it is that because it’s run on a rechargeable battery you can where it anywhere while it’s not doing anything for your pain. The heat would be great if the whole device heated up; at least that would be something, but it’s limited to the tiny vibrating balls that do thing.
