Safe for appliances and AC unit.
Doing good. Using for a 12000 btu AC unit. We only have one outlet on one of wall near floor while unit is up at least 9â up and itâs power cord is on right side. We plan to wrap the cord around top of unit and then come back down with the ext cord so it can go alongside windows since ext is flat it will hardly be seen. Having the extra length will help the appearance of the power cord. We may actually need shorter one but it gives us more versatility. The 15â was a good size and on sale for a couple $ more than 12â right now. About $10 cheaper than Home Depot! Great value!

Very pleased with the cable. It’s being used to supply power to a large dehydration unit in the garage. At 15 amps should power all but the biggest loads. At 20 feet I would have preferred a 12 gauge cable but the dehumidifier is a relatively light load so the voltage drop will be a non concern. The flat design allowed me to feed it around permanent items such as the HVAC unit which is very close to the wall. 12 gauge wire would have gotten 5 stars.
