   Functions as expected, waiting to see results
   This one is hard to review because it’s a more gentle hair remover than what you’d get done professionally. The instructions say to do it once every two weeks for 3-4 sessions, then more gradually if needed after that. I tested it out at the first 3 strengths and modes on my toes to see what the results are before using it anywhere more sensitive or visible.So far so good, it definitely works well out of the box and has 5 intensity levels. The zap is noticable but definitely more gentle than professional hair removal I’ve had done.Skin is a little sensitive but no pain and there’s a little bit of a burnt hair smell so it definitely did something.So far so good, giving it 5 stars for now. I’ll update this review in six weeks or so after I’ve had enough time to really see the results on an area. Very promising though!

   Results are Promising!
   I’ve been using this for a little bit now, and here are my thoughts. It will take time to see the results, but I think it’s working. There is a little skin sensitivity from using this, but no pain. It’s hard to describe, I have some tingling and some tenderness after using this product.I did a bit of research before getting an IPL and I know it’s not as effective as going to a clinic but it is far cheaper. You have to be patient before you see results and I am prepared to wait. Here’s what I like about this unit, it has ICE feature, there is an LCD display, and so far it’s been easy to use.

   Solid IPL with ICE cooling and beefy power supply (64.8W) at a budget price. Grey color.
   There are a lot of options for IPL hair removal devices on Amazon at this point. Having reviewed a huge number of these, I have a very good grasp of the segment, and of how these devices differ. Bottom line: Most of them are very similar, and very average. They work OK, but there isn’t a lot differentating them (outside of shape, color and button placement), and most appear to be made in the same factories.There are a few important features that do differentiate these IPL devices in a meaningful manner:** How powerful is the IPL device (inferred from power supply)** Does the IPL device offer “ICE” epidermal cooling** Does the IPL include additional filters for different purposesThis is a budget priced IPL, but adds decent ICE cooling and a very beefy power supply (64.8W).Using very slow-motion photography, I was able to capture a snapshot of the light (see photos). But the light duration is extremely short.You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will not see any immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas.In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, a pair of eye protection glasses, plus instructions. This tool is rated for 400,000 flashes, which should more than cover your interest in using it.A word about the “ice” functionality: It’s local cooling of the epidermal region (surface skin) in the region where the IPL light pulse is being applied. The high powered light can be irritating to some people, and cooling the skin in that region can reduce the immediate irritation. (It does not improve/decrease efficacy of the treatment). Epidermal cooling is not required for efficient use, but it may make it less unpleasant to use the device for some users.There are supposedly “HR” and “SR” modes included, with HR = Hair Removal and SR = Skin Rejuvination. But as far as I can tell, these are really just names applied to the power level. Levels 1-2 are attached to SR. If you bump the power to levels 3-5, it switches to HR.This IPL flashes twice when you press the trigger. A low intensity flash followed quickly by a more intense one. The power is more than sufficient, with a 64.8W power supply–at the high end of what you will typically find with an IPL, and better than you would usually find with an IPL in this price range.My only serious complaint, given the price, is that the power and mode buttons are placed where your fingers would normally rest while you are using it, and may be easy to accidentally press. (See photos).Pros:** ICE cooling** 64.8W power supply** LCD readout** Very attractively priced for a higher power IPL with ICE** Prefeable gun shapeCons:** The mode/power buttons are placed where it may be easy to accidentally push them when using the gun.Note that this same IPL is sold in various colors in various listings.

   Beautiful set
   I’ve reviewed quite a few IPL devices this year, and they are very similar, whether expensive or budget-friendly. The internals, housed in different designs, mostly come from the same few factories. This device stands out for being more ergonomic than others, with a nicer display and a better gift-package that includes glasses (which should be mandatory). If you’re not alone in the room while using it, get an extra pair of glasses.If you’re new to IPL hair removal, watch some videos and read the instructions carefully. Don’t expect to see results within a week. Depending on your skin type and hair growth, it can take months before you achieve satisfying results.

   Doesn’t remove hair easily
   I had high hopes for this. I have dark brown hair, and fair skin, so I’m considered optimal for this to work.I started with the lowest setting as recommended in the instructions. That did not do anything, so I upped to second then third. The third setting you start feeling some heat and the popping becomes much louder. I did not feel comfortable going higher.You can smell hair burning. But you still feel hair on your legs after treatment. I don’t expect a smooth result from the very first treatment but I expected some results.The pros- it is painless. Easy to hold. Clear instructions.The cons- doesn’t seem to remove hair easily. No view window to see where you have worked and where you have not as you move. Above level two you will feel heat.It does come packaged nicely including safety glasses and a razor for prep.I will continue to use it and update if I begin to see results.

   NICE
   Based on reports from my significant other, it’s easy to use and painless. It seems like a well made tool that will last. The instructions are easy to understand. It will likely take a number of weeks before realizing a good assessment of results.

   So happy to receive this.
   I have never used a laser hair removal tool before but I’ve always wanted to try one. I will have to do my homework and study up on how to use it. It did come with a nice little booklet of instructions to read. It is a nice weight, feels solidly built and is ergonomic .I hope to get rid of those pesky chin hairs that seem to magically appear as I have gotten older.
