This set of Mountain Tires includes everything you need, tubes, levers set. I wish to stress not just tire but a set and this is a big reason I would by this set. The grip with the high density is clear and present. These are high quality tires of an up and coming brand with an excellent reputation because they have high quality and that versus the price they are a bargain.UNBIASED – Amazon Vine reviewers are not paid for reviews, be it positive or negative. I will never recommend a product I would not buy myself. I treat ALL vendors with respect and fairness but my duty is to You, the Amazon customer. I am an Amazon customer too. I have every reason to be sincere in my reviews. If it is junk or treasure my reviews will reflect the products, I give my word of honor. I don’t want any reviews of mine to read like an ad but anyone who has written reviews knows, it is hard to not get sucked into writing in that style, if it is a great product and most are, then we are so enthused about the products and want to scream it to everyone, “Hey, this is a great product”. So in my view, that is why some reviews may sound like ads. I want to say, I encourage you as an interested customer, to ask me questions about the product and I will do my very best to answer each and every one of you. Amazon reviewers can write our views anyway we feel about any product; all we wish to do is help.A reviewer on a social platform often states, “He does not trust Amazon Reviews”. The gentleman is a great reviewer and makes very high quality content, however in this case I disagree strongly. Amazon reviews are dependable and useful. However, use common sense the lower the number of reviews the less accurate the score is. Products that are “Amazon Choice” have always been a winning selection for me. The Amazon review scoring system, lets you know what customers and reviewers like and dislike about the product you are considering purchasing.I cannot state this enough but Amazon Vine reviewers have no reason or encouragement to favor or disfavor any product. Reviews are not edited by Amazon, unless they violate community policy, for example profanity etc., Amazon does not edit reviewers. The comment about Amazon reviews being questionable is somewhat debatable. I assume the comment made by the non-Amazon reviewer is referring to Amazon Vine reviews. I can’t speak for no one but myself, but if the day would ever come that I thought I was obligated to writing ads, I would move on. Amazon knows the value of customer satisfaction and wants to weed out any products that do not live up to advertising claims. Again if you have a question, please let me help.

   Will not work for tubeless setup, and may not work on tubeless ready rims even with a tube.
   Any decent mountain bike today will have tubeless ready rims. These tires are “Clincher” type and will NOT WORK as a tubeless setup. I have read conflicting information as to whether these tires will work with tubeless ready rims, even if you use the tubes. You can use tubes with “tubeless ready” rims, but perhaps not with these tires. Now I gave them 3 stars, as it does say “Clincher”, but I didn’t even know that term previously, as no modern mountain bike tires are Clincher. The tire is heavy as others mentioned, but that is good for avoiding flats, although bad for overall weight. The tread looks good and is similar to my Maxxis Defender tire.If you have an old/lower end mountain bike without tubeless ready rims, I’d recommend these for the price. If you’re in the other 90% of riders, I’d skip them.

   Good chunky tread
   I got the 29 x 2.4″ tires for my electric mountain bike. I love the chunky tread with big lugs and lots of open space between them. That’s good for the terrain I ride in Southern California – loose and/or rocky. These tires weigh about 250g more than a similar Maxxis tire, but that’s not such a big deal on an ebike. Between two tires, that would be a significant amount on an acoustic bike, though.I don’t like presta valves so when I get a new bike, I drill out the valve holes to accommodate Schrader valves. But I also like heavy-duty tubes, so I’ll carry one of these as a spare in case I get a flat.Where I ride, the trend it to wider and wider tires, and 2.4″ width would be on the low end of that. But some bikes can’t take wider tires, so these would be perfect for them.

   Works Great!
   I ordered this set of tires & innertubes for my 27.5 MTB. I did the replacement at home & did not run into any issues. Since the tires were folded in transit, I had to partially inflate the innertubes to take some shape, then secured the tires with zip ties so that I could get completely around while setting the bead. Once this was done (took about 3 zip ties) I was able to easily inflate the innertubes without a problem & I have already been of a few rides around the neighborhood. Would recommend to a friend!
