Tip: The first time to start the coffee machine need to wait for the machine to warm up, it is recommended to make the coffee before using steam.
If you need to reuse the machine, but the machine is overheating, use the steam function to remove the internal heat and hot water.
Before use, ensure that there is water in the water tank, and if the coffee machine does not water, please open the steam first to discharge the internal air.
6 Steps To Get a Perfect Coffee
Note: Too coarse a grind, too little coffee grounds, or insufficiently tamping the coffee grounds before brewing can all lead to inadequate pressure for a proper brew. The amount of espresso extracted will vary depending on the grind size and amount.
How to install the handle easier?
1) The funnel needs to be properly aligned and screwed in horizontally.
How to do if the 1/2 cup indicator flash quickly?

2) The Milk Frothing indicator is not illuminated -Only the Milk Frothing indicator is illuminated, the steam can be used to froth

2)Please don’t press the coffee powder too hard, the stronger the powder pressing force, the powder more compact, the coffee volume will be less.
Why does no water come out despite pressing the coffee making button?
1. Please follow the user manual for first use cycle
2. Water tank lacks water or placed improperly, please fill proper water and remove reinstall

Satisfying Espresso shots with minimal fuss
There are quite a number of these inexpensive Espresso machines to choose from. I suspect, internally many of these will have components made in the same factory. Differences are usually found in additional modes, gauges, dimensions, size of the water containers, etc. This Icuire Espresso machine was attractively priced, and arrived quickly. Unboxing reveals mostly plastic with a front stainless steel plate and bottom accent. It is wider than a similar machine I have, which makes it stand more securely in its place, while taking up a bit more room as well. The manual is all in English, with about half and half pictures and text. Appropriately for novices, it begins with a “Trouble Shooting” section. Skip to pp 4-5 for the First Time Use section. The coffee maker comes with single and a double cup pressurized filters with 51mm diameter. Personally I prefer bottomless filters, and wish they would include some as well. It also has a plastic measuring/tamping spoon which I would suggest to upgrade to something better.Priming a brand-new machine is always a bit of an exciting moment. It needed some good shaking and tilting to get some of the initial air out of the water canister connection and starting to pull in water. Don’t give up! ;-)The portafilter fits very tightly, a bit too tight for my taste, I was not able to move it to the fully locked position. This doesn’t matter, as long as the gasket does not let any steam/water escape. Fully locking it will make removal difficult. Perhaps over time the gasket compresses slightly and the handle will rotate the fully 90 degrees. After running through some water I loaded the double-shot filter with some freshly ground Major Dickason (I recommend a decent grinder to always grind just before brewing) and pushed the “double” button. The result was very satisfying, with a good amount of crema on top, and a balanced taste.Repeated the exercise with a 51mm bottomless basket I have, with the same excellent result, then pushed the Steam button and steamed some cold milk for a latte. This also worked exceedingly well, in no time I had turned the half cup of milk into a full cup of foam. Pushing the Steam button again goes back to Hot Water mode and running that for a few seconds (push the Single button and turn the steam knob) helps to cool down the innards and quickly return to Espresso shots.Personally, I love these simple, inexpensive machines more than the super-expensive super-automatics which seem to break down much more easily due to the complexity of their all-in-one nature. With a minimal learning curve (dial in how fine to grind coffee, how much to use, how hard to tamp, etc) one can get excellent Espresso shots from this machine.I do wish there was just a bit (maybe 1/2in) more space between the portafilter and base to fit a regular size coffee cup for those who want more volume than an Espresso. Removing the bottom tray works, but of course that leaves the machine without drip catcher.I am also not clear if there is a reminder-function for descaling – it does not appear to as nothing is mentioned in the manual. No big deal, but perhaps would beneficial for us forgetful folks.I will update this if I find anything else worth sharing. Definitely recommended for a less than hundred bucks machine to get started with Espressos. One can always upgrade to a Bambino Plus later, but I suspect the differences will be small.

Arrived broken.
Maybe others will have better luck, but I could not get this espresso machine running. It was dead on arrival, strangely with no real signs of damage to the box or to the product itself. Itâs almost like the electrical was shot; no heating, gurgling, motor sounds, no lighting or any use of the function buttons. Hope others have better luck. Iâve kept the extra stars because itâs a great LOOKING machine, black on stainless steel. Also a good price for the size of the machine; of course assuming yours works.

I’m enjoying this machine
This Icuire 20 Bar Espresso Machine has become an easy part of my morning routine and I’m enjoying it. It’s straightforward to use, and it delivers a good espresso. Once I got it primed (which took a minute) and ran a couple water cycles to clean it before use, it settled right in and has been pumping out shots without a hitch. I think it is a fantastic value for the money!
