I love it!
I have never owned a straightener of any kind, ever, because I have trouble gripping things. I tried using friends’ straighteners but have been burned (literally) because I can’t keep them clasped closed. After watching no less than 20 vids, I thought a straightening brush might work for me. I mean, I brush my hair, right? I found Glamfields through a “best product” list and the price was reasonable, the brush looked big (important, I have A LOT of hair,) and it qualified for Prime.I’m not going to lie, I was already skeptical but vowed to keep an open mind. However, as soon as I pulled the box out of the envelope, the straightener slid out of the box and fell on the floor as I was unaware that the box was open on both ends. It is one of those “slide-in” boxes, so be careful. I picked up the straightener. The straightener was still safe in its protective box. I took it out and did my inventory, making sure everything in the product description was there (it was.) I read the provided literature. It was simple enough, so I plugged it in. I set it at a random (400°) temp because I wasn’t sure how hot I’d need it. It heated up quickly. It honestly took me longer to brush the tangles out of my hair than it did to heat up. I braced myself and picked up the straightener. I almost forgot, it weighed less than I expected, an added bonus. It was solid but not bulky. I carefully brushed it through my hair, pleased that the base of the cord was not fixed in place, providing a lot more freedom of movement. A very good thing, since I am left handed. A little playing around with the temp and my hair was perfect! I didn’t drop the brush once! The flexible pivoting of the cord along with the freedom of being able to move my fingers and adjust my grip without losing the heat source made it possible. I’m in love!Pros:* Lighter than expected but not cheaply.* Heated up quickly.* Good size. I can get a lot of my long and super thick hair through the teeth, cutting time significantly.* Temp lock. I accidentally press the buttons a lot while I use it but locking the buttons takes care of that, no problem.* Pivoting cord base. Good for left handed people.* Easy to use, although I recommend reading the instructions.*Comes with a heat-resistant glove, which I recommend using.Cons:* The provided velvet traveling case is too small for the glove, brush, and cord.*The glove is too big for me, but most gloves are. I have tiny hands.* It did smell like burning plastic for a few minutes at first. Went away after a bit of time.Honestly, I highly recommend it. It’s an excellent product and has so far exceeded all my expectations. The issues I had are minor inconveniences that do not take away from the working of the brush.

Only 10 mins to straighten!
Having used a CHI hot iron for over 10 years, I had minimal complaints from using a flat iron but overall was satisfied. My gripe was always the inevitable iron line that pressed into my mane near the scalp in efforts of attempt to pressing the entire length of strand, and the time it took. My straightening process was never less than 40 mins and that was a fast, good-enough job, in which some of my hair was pulled back for style to disguise my lazy straightening job with iron lines. With this new tool from Glamfields Hair Straightener Brush, I feel like I’ve been in the dark for some time. How long have these brushes been out? I feel so foolish. I had no idea a straightener brush existed let alone how extremely effective and FAST I can straighten my entire head of medium thick, just-below shoulder blades length hair with some serious waves. 10 minutes! That’s all. From start to finish to include thermo heat protectant spray and finishing spray. 10 MINUTES! SHUT THE FRONT DOOR! WHAT!Some tips I’ve learned from my early use of this tool…it’s a brush, so if your hair is tangled, it will hurt to pull the brush through your hair during the straightening process., so pre brush. Also, you will want to apply a slight pull on the brush to put pressure through the bristles for the hair to rub against the heated paddle. I also found using the brush from the underside of your hair sections gets better, results than brushing from the top side, as you would a typical brush. You can give your long bangs a little lift if you brush from the underside and lift upward while curling the brush away from your face. You can feel some residual heat while using the brush but not hot enough to burn. The bristles don’t get hot to touch. The brush has some weight to it. I did find my hand fatigued by the end of 10 minutes styling. My teen daughter was just as amazed as I to find how easy and fast this tool completed the entire job. No complaints yet. Low cost investment tool. Recommended for those who need to speed up their morning straightening process. I can say my CHI iron gives a superior flat sleek finish, it’s quite amazing. I will keep my CHI iron for times I want a sleek look and I have the extra time to complete the process. This straightening brush also has a flat finish with a softer look.

Easy to use
I find it easier to use this brush to straighten my hair and curl under the ends of my bob hair cut than using the curling iron I had.Biggest reason for that is that I am not coordinated when trying to look into a mirror and either curl or straighten my hair. And I have very very thick hair so takes a lot of strands to straighten and trying to do the back of my hair. it was comical with my curling iron trying to figure out in the mirror if I need to go forwards or backwards to actually get the curling iron and my hair together. I am totally uncoordinated. So for me this brush makes it a lot easier because itâs just like Iâm brushing my hair. It seems to be a much more natural motion for me. Therefore itâs easier for me to just stick the brush in my hair and pull it down pull my hair through the through this brush. The reason for only four stars is that I find when it comes to trying to curl under the ends of my hair it does not work as well as a curling iron so it tends to be not quite as curled under as I would like. n sometimes I notice that if I donât run the hair through it smoothly enough all the way through then it almost kinks at the end where I wanted to curl so I have to go over a couple times but thatâs probably user error . Like I said, I am horrible at this kind of thing.
