   Standard IPL device, great ergonomics
   This is a pretty basic IPL device but solid nonetheless. The glasses are actually pretty good quality. I ordered a higher-end device and didn’t get glasses with it, so this is a bonus. You will want to use these to avoid damaging your eyes. These IPL devices are BRIGHT. Remember, you are zapping hair. It is going to leave you seeing spots so protect your eyes!!!IPL does not work for everyone. If you have dark skin or very fair hair, odds are, it will not work for you. The IPL laser targets the hair follicles beneath the skin’s surface and uses high-intensity light pulses to destroy the hair cells. It is important to note that IPL laser hair removal is most effective on individuals with light skin and dark hair, as the contrast between the hair and skin allows for better absorption of the light energy. IPL may not be as effective if you have darker skin or lighter hair, as the hair follicles may not absorb light as well. If it doesn’t absorb, it cannot zap. The light energy from the IPL device is absorbed by the melanin pigment in the hair, which converts the light energy into heat. The heat then damages the hair follicle, preventing it from producing new hair. Dark skin, the light doesn’t know how to focus on just the hair. It’s a pretty precise science that makes this work. If you have super pale skin and dark hair, you are the perfect candidate.The power supply is the standard one you usually get with the round adapter. I have had terrible luck with these and have had to order spares. Be careful to use the correct voltage and amperes, or you can damage the device along with injuring yourself. If you have never done IPL, watch a video. This device does not have a cooling feature, but I will only do three zaps per area. I use this on my boyfriend’s shoulders and he usually lets me know when it feels hot. Concentrate on smaller areas. Remember, hair grows in cycles so you will be doing several treatments until you’ve got them all. The flashing is standard at 999,999. Your power supply will die before the device does so be prepared for that. I will do three zaps and move to another area. I’ll make three passes total of the area. It should not be painful or uncomfortable. Keep the device moving. Again, watch an instructional video until you get the hang of it and be realistic about results.

   It’s ok.
   I have used this as directed, the biggest thing is making sure you have it on the right setting for the body part. First I had it on my arm and it hurt but I lowered it and it was pain-free. I have done multiple places and haven’t noticed a difference at all. I have followed the directions and took the time to do this correctly and while the hair growth slowed down it hasn’t removed it at all. Also, it caused me to get a boil that was really painful after the 2nd time I used it. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this, especially for how much this costs. Not sure if others work better but my interaction with this one is that it dosen’t work and I’m better off just shaving.

   This works very well, but it left my sensitive skin very red. That’s all on me, not the item.
   First, I want to tell you that I have lupus and also have multiple allergies, and, if an allergic or adverse reaction can be had, I’m guaranteed to have it. I liked the way this laser hair remover worked, but I think my skin is too sensitive or too picky for it. I used it on my lower legs first, and it left them very red, but this is just me and is in no way what I’d expect to be typical of this product.The laser hair removal kit is easy to use and very easy to store. The most important thing I can tell you about this is that you HAVE to read the instructions and make sure you understand them before you get started. It does a very good job of destroying hair, and I haven’t yet had time to see if the hair I removed will come back, but I’ll update my review when enough time has passed.If you have sensitive skin or an autoimmune disease like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis or hypothyroidism, you might want to check with your doctor before using this. It’s safe, and it appears to work very well, but it’s designed for normal, typical skin, not the thin skin I have on my legs because of a horrible illness there. Be sure to wear the safety glasses that are provided with the kit, read the instructions, and you should be fine. If you have a rash or other skin condition, I’d wait until that’s cleared up before using this.Very good product, does exactly what it’s supposed to do and does it well, but I have lupus, allergies, and very sensitive skin and probably shouldn’t have been using this anyway. It left my lower legs very red, but, if there’s an allergic or adverse reaction to be had, I’ll have it. I don’t blame the laser hair remover for my problems, I blame myself for using it in the first place. This is a fine product that comes with everything you need, including safety glasses. The most important feature of this laser hair remover is the instructions, which you absolutely should read before you get started. I think this is a very good product and blame my problems squarely on myself, not the laser hair remover. I’ll update my review when my red legs return to normal and let you know how it worked. If you have normal skin, I think this would be a very good laser hair remover for you, but it’s just not for me. All my problems with this laser hair remover were caused by my medical conditions, and in no way are they typical. Very good product, but I think it’s best to start slow with this.

   No good
   I’ve used this device precisely as recommended and it did nothing, the hair did not lessen at all. The terrible razor it comes with did more for removing hair than this device ever could…..and that grew back too! By the time you use it as advised it’s passed the return window.

   This doesn’t work
   This device doesn’t work. I filled every single direction and It literally only protected one laser beam. The one beam was extremely hot. It just doesn’t remove hair by any stretch of the imagination.
