Excellent little device!
I have about 10 different KASA branded smart plugs and they have always performed very well. The WiFi plugs have worked very well, are extremely easy to connect and control via the KASA app, and I have been extremely happy with this brand. The KASA app is great because you can set schedules, times, and group plugs together. Even better is that I can control them through Alexa as well. I use them for my holiday decorations to automate them turning on/off daily, and I love the voice command for the indoor items I control. I have both indoor and outdoor plugs and they all have worked very well. I would not hesitate to recommend these.

Easy set up
I’ve had these for a while now. Have never lost their connection like another brand continually does. Will definitely buy this brand again if I decide I need more. Price is right and product is reliable. Works well with Alexa. Absolutely nothing negative to say about these plugs.

Easy to set up and use
It takes under a minute to set up each new device. Plug it in, open the app, click +, connect to device WiFi (TP-Link), follow instructions (I.e enter your network WiFi password). Iâve had no issues setting up any of the 10+ devices that are in our network. Very simple and straightforward.Itâs equally easy to set up and modify schedules for your devices. For our lights, my favorite are the adaptive schedules that are tied to sunrise and sunset vs. a set time. We also use them to control our kidsâ nightlights and our Christmas decorations. I love not having to crawl around and hunt for the Christmas tree plug.The devices work flawlessly with our Alexa which is primarily how we interact with them. Weâll rarely use the app to add new devices, modify schedules and control lights when weâre out of the house.We bought this set of 4 smart plugs (Nov 2024) to replace another one that stopped working with Alexa (purchased 2021). This is the only device weâve ever had an issue with. Itâs a well-made, durable product.As far as the design, it is not slim. It plugs into the outlet with the plug on the front. Not an issue for us but may be an issue for some trying to get this in a tight spot behind furniture.

Kasa /Tapo plugs are good
I’ve been using Kasa plugs for some time now and never had any issues. They are simple to install with the app, no issues with finding and updating, and simple to schedule. They consume very little electricity to keep themselves active. I think Kasa no longer exists as a brand and Tapo took over, with a new line of plugs but they work together with no issues. I used to have a Wemo and it was a nightmare in all those aspects, so it is not granted that all should work seamlessly. I recommend Tapo smart plugs.

Outstanding Smart Plugs
I am about to purchase my fourth set of these Kasa Smart Mini Plugs. Not only have I attached them to various lights throughout my house but also my sisterâs home, too. I was an early adapter of Wemo smart plugs. They were expensive and not very reliable as far as responding to Alexa routines and they completely failed at some point. The Kasa plugs are at a very nice price and very rarely fail to respond to commands (which I believe has more to do with my wi-fi hub occasionally going glitchy.) The Kasa plugs are incredibly easy to add to a network. The devices are small and fit in just about any space. They have an override button to turn them on in case your wi-fi goes out.

Fantastic addition to my local smart devices.
These actually work great and the app is great as well. I was completely, pleasantly surprised. I have several of these in ise so far and love that I can just open the app and see what is on and what isn’t.The main thing that surprised me was that once you set up schedules in the app, no internet connection is required on your phone for the schedule to work, meaning that it’s stored on the device somehow. It even works after the smart plug loses it’s power supply at the outlet or is unplugged, which shocked me.Another huge plus for me is the fact no hub is required so it’s all on your local network and not connecting to a data center somewhere. BUT, I can still turn on and off all my devices while away from home, since it’s connected to my home wifi.I’ll probably be adding more of the Kasa smart devices to the several I already have since setup is super simple and they just work.

These are Fantatic and Make Life Easier!
I may be late to the party but we are in the middle of selling our house and with each showing are supposed to turn on every light in the house. Well, I got tired of that pretty quickly! I bought two boxes of these plugs and set up all the lamps in the house on these smart plugs. Itâs so easy now! I canât believe it took selling our house to try these. I love that you can turn things on and off through the app – even when you arenât home. They also work perfectly with Alexa. There was already a Alexa skill set up for this brand which made set up with her a breeze. I bought another brand to try out as well and ended up returning those. The app that goes with this brand works better and their actual shape is rectangular (not round like the other one) which can make a difference depending on your outlet situation. These were also easier to set up. Only negative was the actual set up was not entirely simple (the directions were a bit off) and I had to google for help. Once I knew what I was doing it was 1-2-3. Love these!

Integración con Kasa muy efectiva, la única parte que encontré confusa es que una vez que se abre la aplicación y se añade el dispositivo (este debe estar conectado y parpadeando en azul/naranja) hay que momentáneamente SALIR de la aplicación KASA e ir a configuración para desde ahà buscar el dispositivo en la lista de redes WiFi (aparece como TP_LINK y algún código numérico fácilmente distinguible) y manualmente conectarse a él (desconectándose de la red principal del lugar), una vez hecho esto, de manera automática la aplicación termina el enlace y queda establecido ya sin complicación alguna. Son facilÃsimos de configurar con la aplicación de manera intuitiva, muy versátiles y hasta ahora, extremadamente confiables, los manipulo desde la casa o cuando estoy fuera de la ciudad sin ningún problema.

First of all, it is nice that this product does not cover the whole socket. Hooking up to wifi was very easy and within minutes it was operational. Put them in my soffit socket so no more ladder to plug and unplug anything.
