This down-filled wonder has been my trusty companion on countless camping trips, and I’m here to tell you why it deserves a spot in your backpack.Warmth you can count on:550 fill power down: Lofty and toasty, this bag kept me snug as a bug in a rug even on chilly fall nights.Trapezoidal baffles: These clever pockets keep the down evenly distributed, preventing cold spots and maximizing warmth.Comfort that lulls you to sleep:Spacious interior: I never felt constricted, even tossing and turning like a human pretzel.Soft lining: The fabric is gentle against your skin, making it a pleasure to drift off to sleep.Natural-fit footbox: No more cramped toes! This roomy design lets you wiggle your feet freely for ultimate comfort.Lightweight and packable:Compresses down small: Easily stashed in my pack, leaving plenty of room for other gear.Durable ripstop nylon shell: Tough enough to handle the wilderness without weighing you down.A few things to consider:True to its 20° rating: While I was comfy down to the mid-40s, it might not be warm enough for true winter camping. No bells and whistles: This is a basic bag, so if you need features like a draft collar or integrated pillow, you might want to look elsewhere.Overall, the Kelty Cosmic 20° is a fantastic value for the price. Large footbox
I’m not a fan of mummy bags in general because I hate the feeling of constriction. However, this entry level down sleeping bag was exactly what I was looking for in terms of quality, comfort, warmth, price, and size of footbox! If you’re not trying to spend too much on a quality 3 season bag, this is the one. I don’t have a lot of reason to do winter camping but I figured if I absolutely needed to, I can just add a sleeping bag liner to this bag. The fabric is incredible soft to the touch and doesn’t make a lot of noise which is important to me. And the footbox space is awesome for a mummy bag! I got the updated regular size for the footbox and it worked out just fine for me. Get this bag!

Very warm!
I purchased the short version and was worried it may be too short as I am 5â6â, I am pleased to say it was perfect for me, however I wouldnât go with this version if you are taller than 5â6â.The bag is very soft and comfortable against your skin, the zipper was easy to actuate with no hang ups, and very impressed with how small this thing compacts for a 20 degree bag. I used this bag in 48 degree weather and I was wayyy too warm, had to unzip and get some cool air. I wouldnât hesitate to take this bag down to the 30âs . All in all I am very pleased with this purchase, especially a down bag in this price range I think you will be hard pressed to beat the Kelty cosmic down 20.

Good sleeping bag at a reasonable price
It packs small. It’s very light and it keeps you warm as long as you have a sleeping pad with some R value.

Snug as a bug in a rug
I do not camp or sleep outdoors, but I bought this for my son. He loves it and has recommended it to several friends. He said that it is comfortable, and he was able to fit in it with no problem even though he is a big guy at 6’1″. It is very lightweight, which was his main concern on his long hikes. Bonus: Rolling up and getting back in the travel bag is very easy!

Be Aware
I love this bag, as it is very comfortable and warm, but… At 5’10”, regular length fit me fine. But at about 215lbs, it’s a tight fit. I like to sleep with my arms tucked in folded against my body, but unfortunately for me, my arms don’t like it. lol. I often wake up to stretch my arms out and get the blood circulating. If this is you, I suggest going with the roomier bag. I gave it 5 stars because all in all, it’s a great bag, just not the best for me. I have not stopped using it, but I may switch to the roomier bag. hope this is helpful.

Es un buen sleeping, tiene buena compresión pero a penas y te mantiene caliente a los 1 o 2 grados centigrados. Lo recomiendo para media montaña, no para alta.
