Modified use
I do not own a kayak, but I felt this could be modified to fit either our riding lawn mower or tractor, neither of which have a decent cup holder (looking at you, Kubota!). While I am still playing with the mounting, it is not for lack of options but rather really deciding my preference before committing to position.Based on reviews by those that actually do own kayaks, this is a functional design for attaching as directed.I do like the depth of the cup and the spring that holds various sizes of cups and cans. Beverage selection will be dependent on time of day, but I like that I can use my insulated coffee mug or tumbler or straight can, depending on said beverage.I am happy with this selection.

Really good–and simple to attach–cup holder for your kayak that holds securely
After ordering new kayaks to go with our new home on a river; I wanted to add a cup holder for the kayak as living in Minnesota it is nice to have a coffee (or other beverage) while on the water. The cup holder attaches easily to a standard track mount. There are a couple of mounting options, but that was the easiest for me as I already had a track mounted on my kayak (another Amazon purchase). The “tongue” in the holder really helps secure the cups and prevents the cup from tipping or falling out. I have a similar style cupholder for my car and they work great! Price is reasonable and so would recommend if you are looking for an easy-to-install, secure-holding kayak cupholder.

Holds the bigger bottles great! Little bottles rattle around a bit but still havent had one fall out. I like it overall
