Excellent, quiet, fast coffee maker
Well designed, brews very quietly and quickly for great coffee. Easy to program, fits easily on the counter under a cabinet. Doesn’t get hot or steamy on the exterior during brewing. Definitely recommend.

It brews a hot, delicious first cup of coffee and doesnât take too long. We love it.
Makes an outstanding cup of coffee in minutes and without any mess or fuss. (Our Cuisinart was just a mess.)This Kenmore is so easy and mess-free, I set it up with coffee and water the day before, push one button to set the programmed time (3 a m in our house). Voila! Hot delicious coffee when we want it. I L O VE THIS MACHINE.Easy enough set up too.Programming the clock and timer are super easy. A tiny light comes on and even shows the programmed time. I like that a lot.We like strong coffee but have found this machine makes fantastic coffee without the need for utilizing the Bold option.(The 1-4 Cup/Bold option can be confusing. They should be separate buttons but they are not. We donât need or use them anyway.)The coffee does not taste as good using the permanent filter as it does with paper filters. I buy the large Bunn filters on Amazon. The coffee maker works fairly quickly and you can steal a cup during brewing, but make haste. I love this carafe because it doesnt dribble; it has a clean fast pour. But because it is glass, the delicious coffee gets stale fast on the warmer. That first cup is really fantastic. Seattles Best Medium Roast is our choice for this machine, or Starbuckâs Pikeâs Place medium roastâ¦We even do half and half. What I like best is that the coffee is hot. What I like least is how fast it gets that burn-smell in the glass carafe, about the time it takes to drink that first delicious cup. I suggest if you drink more than one cup, pour the second right away, into a Yeti cup, or stainless carafe.I do not like how difficult it is to read the buttons. Tiny writing infuriates me. It isnât even in bold lettering. But we only use the On/Off button now.Bottom line when all is said and done, this Kenmore works, it isnât messy, and the coffee is so good every time.Update: makes such good coffee, we decided to order a stainless carafe to pour it into once the coffee is brewed. I have come back to give this coffee maker a fifth star.

It has a few design flaws, but–most important– it makes very good coffee
Background: my old top-rated coffee maker finally died and I had to replace it. Tried a top-rated and spendy Cuisinart first– good ergonomics, mediocre coffee (bland and bodiless). Next went to the “best buy” rated Black & Decker– a litter better but the same thing. Decided to take a chance on this one before just using pour-over on weekdays too, which is less convenient.Everyone is right about the two main flaws in this Kenwood. It is very difficult to fill because of the way the openings are situated plus the design of the carafe. Snap-off the carafe’s lid and it’s easier, or you can use a large measuring cup instead. It’s clumsy but manageable. And, the “coffee ready” beep is REALLY loud. I can hear it halfway across the house. First morning my wife thought a smoke detector was running low when she heard it. We shut the bedroom door when we use it. I wish it had a disable switch. All that aside, this thing makes very good coffee! Which, when you think of it, is its primary function. And it’s right between the low-end $30ish range and the start of the pricey ones at $80-100. Plus, the white looks great in our kitchen. This one is a keeper, flaws and all. This would have been a five-star review for flavor and value if not for the two issues mentioned

Great Coffee Maker – Despite the LOUD Beeper!
Despite the numerous reviews complaining about the very loud beeper sound when the cycle completes (or when it shuts off automatically), this is a really nice machine. (And yes, the beep IS loud but not obnoxiously so…) I switch back and forth between my Nespresso machine and drip coffee and wanted a new machine because the old Cuisinart was looking a bit haggard. Honestly, the red color is what attracted me the most (wanting anything other than black and stainless steel). It’s a great, basic, no frills, easy to operate, great results coffee maker. Period.

Great item for the price
We needed a basic coffee maker with no frills but one that looks nice and doesnât feel like cheap junk. This is it. The red and silver finish looks great on the counter top. It brews just fine and is easy to use. I read some complaints on othersâ reviews but felt it was still a good option for us. It is.In regards to those reviews; yes, the unit could be a bit more solid and sturdy feeling. But for the price it seems just fine and Iâm confident it should last. Also, I agree that the opening for adding water is a bit small and makes it a bit more challenging to pour water without spilling. But thatâs a very minor issue. Some commented that it does not brew the coffee hot enough. It does seem to be a few degrees less than others perhaps but it is not a big difference and frankly Iâd rather have this than some Iâve used that give you a scorching cup that you must let cool a bit before enjoying. Overall, very happy so far.
AnnE The product was too small for the price? Itâs why I rate a two star! I love the color of the angels but just tiny size! Anne –

Got to have my morning coffee!
After reading reviews and chkg my wallet this was my choice …I love the color combo that I got looks great in my kitchen. Coffee made super fast compared to my old Black & Decker! Pouring water in can be tricky but like the measuring on side. As mentioned the buzzer is loud..but not a long one.

We had a quite a time looking for a white coffee pot. I know there are a lot of black/red/stainless units out there, probably to avoid any staining. This pot is white and stainless. Our kitchen is all white appliances so anything else looks out of place. We kind of balked at the need to get filters for the machine, but when my husband had his first cup – of the coffee he’s had for years – he said, THIS is the BEST cup of coffee I’ve had in a LONG time. I would attribute that to the filters, and yes, a new pot. It’s programmable which was a must, and has a 1-4 cup feature (haven’t used yet, but ideal option), comes with a gold cone filter (my fussy hubby wanted). We were a little alarmed – well he was – when the machine beeped 5 times indicating coffee ready. However, he gets up earlier than I do, and I simply do not hear it a floor up, and our bedroom is not directly over the kitchen. I’ve heard it once or twice – not bad. Anyhow, I highly recommend this Kenmore coffee pot. It had GREAT reviews and I would say that the price is a lot more reasonable than other more bougie brand names, but has similar if not superior results – a really great cup of coffee. You can get the filters for the water reservoir on amazon too – a dozen for $16. We haven’t had to change it yet. There is a feature on the coffee maker that will alert you to when you have to change the filter – the guide that came with says every 70 brewing cycles, 3 beeps will sound and a CHANGE FILTER message will blink in the control panel. There is a Filter Reset button indicator on the front panel that will also illuminate. So, it’s a no brainer when to change the filter. We’ve had the coffee pot for about 30 days now. Anyhow, yep, we love it – you will too.

Overall a great coffee maker, with a few small inconveniences. Works well ,nice and hot and very good timer/clock.A small issue, it is hard to fill with water, and the top of the pot gets coffee on it and needs to be cleaned after every use.Although expensive it more than exceeded our expectations.

Makes a good pot of coffee.

I bought this as a gift and I am told it works just fine, there is no need to buy paper filters anymore, the alarm is perhaps a little loud, it keeps the coffee hot, the color purchased was red and very attractive.
