Important Reminders for Coffee Maker Use 
Why are coffee temperatures low in the winter?
When the ambient temperature is below 10°C, the S.S filter and the coffee cup absorb heat very strongly, it is recommended to insert an empty pod + S.S filter rinse for the first cup, which warms the cup and heats the pod and the S.S filter.
How do I set the capacity?
Long press the large cup button for 60-90s (7-12oz) don’t relax until it reaches your desired capacity, release the button and the coffee maker will automatically remember the capacity setting, next time just short press it
Machine leaks while making coffee?
The leakage at the pods is related to the improper use of capsules and coffee powder, please use the capsule model recommended by KOTLIE, please choose 15g of fine salt size and compact coffee powder, and clean the filter bowl in time.
Machine is loud when brewing coffee?
The coffee maker makes a loud noise and vibrates slightly when it is first run. This is normal for a 19 bar pump. The noise will diminish with use.
Why does the hot water run from the rear black tube to the tank at the end of the brew?
Please be assured that this is a normal pressure relief of the machine and that the hot water is not waste water and can be used again,Please keep the water tank water is always above 300ml

Simple to use and multi functional
Iâve been using this coffee maker everyday and it has become a morning routine for me because I love using it so much. It is fully assembled. It supports coffee bean powder and espresso capsules (havenât tried other types). It works great for both! Simply put powder/capsules in their designated adaptor. Takes only ~25 seconds to get my morning coffee and it has two brew sizes to choose from. I use 2oz for latte. Definitely a versatile and multi functional coffee maker. Thereâs no leakage observed so far. The coffee maker doesnât take much space, fits really well by corner on the kitchen counter.

A lot of versatility, good coffee, but not perfect
We have a Keurig coffee maker that’s been on the fritz lately. We have been debating about whether or not to get another Keurig or maybe try a Nespresso machine. I ran across this machine on Amazon and it seemed to be the best of both worlds plus some so I ordered it to give it a try.This machine is very versatile supporting the use of K-cups, Nespresso pods, ground coffee, and ESE (although I’m not familiar with this last one). So far, I’ve used K-cups and ground coffee and have been pleased with the results. When used with ground coffee, it produces a very nice froth (see picture) like you get when ordering a cup of coffee at Starbuck’s. K-cup performance is solid as well although you don’t get the froth with K-cups. I haven’t tried Nespresso pods or ESE yet.There are two volume buttons that allow you to have two presets for the amount of coffee that is brewed. The factory defaults are 2 ounces and 6 ounces. We adjusted the 6 ounce button up to about 10 ounces which is the size of the coffee cups that we use. The brewed coffee tastes good and is just about the strength that the wife and I like. The instruction manual is complete and gives you information how to use the different attachments, required maintenance, and what to do before you use the machine the first time.There is a tradeoff that comes with the versatility. There is a pile of attachments that you need to store (see second picture) as each cup type has its own holder, and there are coffee tampers and a tube required for maintenance. One of the holders supports both ESE and ground coffee so this holder has two different metal cups. I’m sure that over time we’ll lose at least one of the pieces.There are a couple of slight negatives with the unit. First, the temperature of the brewed coffee is cooler than I’d like. If you were to drink the whole cup of coffee as soon as it was brewed it would be fine. But I listen to or read the news in the morning while I’m drinking my coffee and by the time I’m toward the bottom of the cup it is too cool. Second, the water tank is too small. We only get two full cups of coffee per tank when we use the button that we’ve set to 10 ounces. This issue is complicated by the fact that the feet of the unit are suction cups which stick to our counter tops so when we try to slide the unit out for the frequent tank refills it is a bit of a pain.All-in I like the coffee maker and will continue to use it. I’ll get the temp I want by putting the brewed cup in the microwave and will deal with the small tank and attachments.

Loud, lots of vibration and inaccurate measurements
I didn’t realize that the different capsules required three different cartridges that you have to pull out and put back in each time you want to brew. If using a nespresso capsule, you have to pull the cartridge out, put the capsule in and then put the cartridge back into the machine. When making multiple espresso shots, this required this step multiple times. The machine has suction cups on the bottom to keep it affixed to your counter – and after using it and having the cup vibrate off the grate, I now understand why. I need to have a suction cup on the bottom of my cup too. I decided to brew a k-cup to see how it worked and i used an 8oz measuring cup to hold the coffee- the 6oz that it said it brewed, pulled over 8oz of liquid into the cup.

This espresso machine has completely changed how I enjoy my coffee at home. Itâs so easy to use and easy to clean!! The ability to customize the water volume is great, allowing me to switch between a quick espresso shot or a longer americano. And the espresso it brews is top-notch, ready in just 30 seconds.I also love how compact and stylish this machine is. Iâve been using the KOTLIE 4in1 Espresso Machine for a few weeks now and Iâm really impressed with its capabilities! It makes rich, flavorful espresso with a smooth crema, and the built-in grinder is super convenient for freshly ground coffee as well! The machine is super easy to set up and use, and the machine is surprisingly easy to clean and maintain too. I love how compact the form factor of the machine is which makes it super easy to find counter space for. Overall itâs a fantastic machine for home use, especially if youâre looking for a balance of quality and ease. Highly recommend!
