Incredible Value, AWESOME experience, GREAT boots
I used the super branded Normatecs weekly, after my osteostrong session. And I love them. I have been hesitating for two months. Should I get them – almost $1000 with CALI taxes, should I opt for a cheaper version? Will it be okay? Should I gamble for a third the cost. And then the Axis Pro went on a bit of a sale with a promotion. And I used my FSA dollars and pulled the trigger because everyone RAVES about this company, LifePro. SOOO HAPPPY that I did! The boots are strong. They are about an inch or two shorter than the Norms, but that is okay. I am 6’1″ with long legs and they work AMAZZZZZINGLY well. There are tons of programs to choose from, find your favorite one. The charging is easy. The boots are so pressurized, I can only use them on the mid level where with the others, I have them on 7 (their highest). They work GREAT. Compression. Release. Good bye lymph – get thee on your way! They are not as quiet, the Norms are practically silent, but WHO cares. I LOVE THEM! The build, the quality, the BOX they come in, you have to pay all extra for the carrying case on the other brand. Easy hook up, clearly marked. LOVE!

Outstanding device.
I deal with severe vascular insufficiency in my lower legs and feet which creates serious pain and swelling and has required several hospitalizations. As a result I’ve been prescribed 2 separate medical grade edema pumps which Medicare indicates cost several thousand dollars each. The LifePro compression machine is FAR better then either of them. Here’ why:1. You can easily get in and out of the sleeves yourself. The other units require another person to apply and remove them.2. The tech material says they’re good for smaller people. I’m 6’2″, 270 lbs and they fit great.3. The pump/control unit is very intuitive and flexible. You can have it just massage one part of your foot or, as I do, have it pressure sequentially upward and drive the edema into my hip where it gets dealt with by my body.3. You can select from several pressures. The next to lowest is sufficient for me. That pressure is plesantly several times stronger then either of the $$$$$ machines can deliver.4. You can set the time it operates from a few minutes to more then an hour.5. The control has a battery in it (the medical grade machines do not) that will power the unit for several hours, and it recharges fast. It’s very convenient not to be connected to a power cord.6. The overall build quality is excellent. The unit apprears to be marketed a sports injury device but if you have bloodflow or edema issues with your legs I strongly recemmend this device.

Works great – just not for my leg pain.
The product functions very well. Unfortunately, after using it every day for seven days, I got no pain relief.. The air sections (4) worked perfectly, except that even at low pressure, the lower 3 segments felt perfect but the thigh felt uncomfortably tight, even though my legs are standard dimensions and I’m not heavy. The control center was very easy to understand and operate, and the booklet was easy to understand.

DO NOT BUY !
Item purchased and was defective. Unit did not turn on after charging period. Company said they would send a replacement of the console but only sent a charger. Amazon accepted a return request and sent a replacement. The replacement was also defective. Called the manufacturer to make sure all operating procedures were followed (owners manual was well explained) and indeed all initial charging and operation procedures were followed. Please note these were the open boxed version that were purchased. Amazon needs to take these out of stock. So much for “used in excellent condition”

Itâs like getting a leg hug from the Incredible Hulk.
Iâve been using the system now for a couple of weeks. Iâm very happy with the results. Definitely have to start off with the lower compression numbers and work your way up. The system does not cure the leg swelling problems but it does provide relief.I typically have the pressure set to number 100. I have tried the setting at 120. It was uncomfortable. The sleeves seem to be large enough to accommodate people with larger legs. Iâm not a small guy, 6 feet tall and 230 pounds. When the sleeves are deflated there is still quite a bit of room.I typically use the device for 30 minutes at a time. The charge on the battery will last almost a week with the settings that I use.I would definitely recommend this product for someone who is suffering from swollen legs. I can also see how this can be a very beneficial device for somebody that weight training or cycling. It will definitely flush out any built-up lactic acid and help with recovery.

I’m glad I spent more to get this model
I’ve wanted to get something like this since using them in the hospital a few years ago, but I was skeptical of the quality that I saw in the cheaper products. For one thing, the pumps didn’t sound very relaxing, more like they were ready to break. The video this product had sold me on this one because I can hear the difference between this and the others (most other product videos just have music for some reason). This costs a lot more than some others, but after using it I think it’s worth it. The pump is quiet and is relaxing, not bone jarring. Valves actuate quietly, too. The battery seems to last forever, or at least as long as you should use it (90 minutes max.). The leg sleeves are durable and easy to use with the zippers. One thing I’d like to see is a minimum pressure adjustment. The bags spend a lot of time inflating just to start getting pressure on your legs, and it would be great it it would deflate only partially to a loose fit. Still not bad after a couple cycles have inflated them a bit. Having min/max pressure adjustments for each area would be awesome.

Small cuffs
I got the XXL and could barely get my thighs in comfortably. My pants size is 14 regular and I’m 189 lbs. Also after 5 uses the zipper broke when it was inflating
