These boots are great
These boots are cute and comfortable. I have gotten many compliments about them. I bought other boots around the same time and they are already cracking at the area where the foot bends. These are much better quality. So far they have done well in rain, especially the traction, and have kept my feet warm in fall weather.

These boots are very simple and most importantly they donât look cheap and shiny! I recently purchased another pair from lifestride and the boots were awful, and looked like they could melt if you literally just sat around a bonfire. Very plastic and shiny looking. BUT these boots from lifestride are not so, at all! They are firm, matte, simple and just beautiful! I believe lifestride has changed their measurements when making their boots because in the past, a few years ago I ordered a regular calf boot and it fit my skinny calves perfectly. I was happy to finally find a brand that fit me. But now, both of the new boots I have purchased within the last 3 months are very wide, even being labeled the regular calf boot. I am very disappointed in this new development. But overall I am happy. These boots lost a star due to the new wide calf on even the regular boots.

Barely fit my XL calves
I have struggled all my life with humongous calves. I cannot wear knee high/thigh high anything. I am on the constant look out for boots that fit.These did zip up all the way after some serious and careful zipper action. Overall the fit was comfortable but because these were so tight on the calves, everything from the low chin down was just slouchy. It made my ankles look like blobs or like I was wearing a pirate boot. For reference I am 5’1 (not sure my calf size) so I also need petite sizes. Had I been a few inches taller, these would have done the trick. So it did technically fit, but the style was not as expected once I got them on. I wanted a sleek riding boot / basic b**ch look.

I agree with the other reviews – go up half a size (Iâm normally a 7 and ordered the 7.5 and glad I did because my toes would have been right at the end had I ordered my usual size) and I definitely wouldnât recommend these if your calf is any larger than 17â (mine are just shy of 17â and they fit just fine – snug without any extra effort to zip them, but I will only be able to wear them with thin tights/leggings). I gave them 4 stars because I find that they bunch/slouch in the ankles and you can tell that the material is not real leather (nowhere near as nice at my Naturalizer ones that are double the price). But overall for the price and general fit, they are a pretty good boot if you have just slightly larger than average calves. Bit of a rant here, but I donât think companies get what âwide calfâ means. They are always only slightly wider than average which means I can never find a pair wide enough to wear with jeans and ladies with calves larger than 17â can hardly ever find a pair to fit them at all.
