Liteband PRO Series 1500

Best headlamp I have ever owned, and I have owned many headlamps.
The diffuse LED band portion of the light provides very good ambient light, with the small spot light providing focused light right where you need it. Does not shine in your eyes like many others. Does not light well out past 20′ or so, but thats never what I use my headlamps for. I use to chop wood, set up the generator during outage, do household maintenance and many tasks with tools in dark conditions. I love the quick and easy recharging, but it lasts several hours without any issue. I dont even recharge every time I use it for a while, perhaps every third or forth time and I have never noticed any dimming. Seems to last as long as a battery powered one between charges. I am picky, so I put new batteries in my older ones pretty often. I love it and will buy another.

5 months is all it lasted
I also own the liteband 1000, in fact i am so happy with the 1000 that i bought a 1500 for the focus beam. The battery on my 1000 was so cheaply made that i had to strip the USB’C’ and resolder it on.Today i got my brand new Liteband Pro 1500 and when i pushed a USB charger into the plug under the little silicone flap i felt something give way and it doesnt want to make the connection to charge. The headband flashlight is comfortable and works very well, the 1000 has served me well for a couple years now, I don’t know if Liteband has the batteries made somewhere or what, but i will repeat what a read in another review, “I spent more time writing this than they spent on quality control for the battery”So today is 1/12/2024, i received this in September 2023, today it quit on me, i changed battery’s and same, i am really bummed out, it worked great till this morning, i thought i could depend on it, i spent 80.00$ on this pile of junk, reducing my rating for sure, one star, dang i am depressed about this…..

Amazing light
The addition of a 500 lumen forward projecting light make this an amazing headlamp

Nice light
Have only used it a couple times. Guess time will tell, so far so good. Hope it is worth the cost. Seems to be a little high priced.

Hidden recharge connecter. (Not identified or indicated by the instructions)
After reading the step-by-step instructions I plugged the USB-C connector for the battery into a USB-C charger and the battery would not recharge. Later while repackaging it for return I discovered the hidden recharge connecter located under a flap on the other end of the battery. (Not identified or indicated in anyway by the instructions). I actually had to use a sharp pointy tool to peal open the flap (Also not identified or indicated in anyway by the instructions) thinking all the while I possibly maybe damaging it as I could not peal it open with just my fat mechanics fingers. So then using the included 6-inch USB to USB-C charging cable provided and plugged into the hidden USB-C connector it recharged. All happy.I did try several standard USB-C cables to recharge it however none would connect tightly and would quit working if slightly bumped. Upon closer inspection I could see the contacts inside the included charge cable are different than the standard USB-C cables. Knote of advice, best not lose the provided charge cable. While the product itself looks well-made the total lack of the instructions to indicate the existence of or the need to peal open a flap to access a hidden recharge connector is a real problem.Additionally, though it seems to be a well-made product it should have been made so the head band could be removed for cleaning or replacement. This would seem like a no brainer especially the cleaning thing, hello mechanics using it.

Excellent Light, Terrible Battery
I’m going to start by saying that this light is absolutely fantastic….when it works. The modes are easy to cycle and the band is very very bright, it has been perfect for my applications as a plumber. My issues lie with the battery, I have to hold the wire that runs from the battery to the light at just the right angle for it to work at all. If the wire moves the tiniest bit, the light shuts off. I’ve tried tape and all sorts of solutions to try to hold it in place, to no avail. I haven’t been able to get in touch with any type of support at all. Again, I love the light, the light is great, but the battery (or at least the one mine shipped with) is terrible.
