Excellent body wash that really does softens skin noticeably
It must be the glycerin that is added that helps soften the skin. It does this better than Dove. I’m curious to see how well it does in the winter. The fragrance is rather wintery and sandalwoody like a classic French perfume and smells like bath powders do, it’s not the most modern fragrance, it might remind you of your grandmother, which can be comforting if yours has passed on, but it’s lovely and thick and lathers well. Someone wrote that they did not get the original project and that it was thin like dish soap; they must have gotten a tampered one where someone took the soap and refilled it with water. This product is very good and I will buy it again. The matching talc powder in the shaker is very nice, too.

IT BEGAN IN SPAIN
My Spanish great-grandmother used Maja and I grew up smelling the fragrance on my grandmother. I am now in my 70’s and still revel in the spicy sandalwood rose scent. I deducted one star because now that the product is no longer made in Spain, the fragrance is not quite the same. Close…but not the same.

Amazon doesnât ship well
I love the Maja Bath Soap! It smells wonderful, makes skin feel wonderful, and the scent lasts a long time. However, when Amazon gets hold of the product and just throws it a box without a bit of tape (as Iâve seen them do with other products), well, it just runs out of the bottle onto everything else. Imagine that! And if you try to return it, who gets to pay for the damage? Not Amazon!

Floral, spicy, warm and comforting scent
I treated myself and ordered this along with the 2-pack of dusting powder and my showers have become a spa-like experience. Just a tiny bit produces lots of lather so this large bottle will definitely last a while and at right about $1.00 per ounce, it’s a very affordable luxury. Maja perfume has been around since 1921 and it’s simply wonderful. The scent is a sophisticated, warm and nostalgic blend of many notes: geranium, citrus, orange blossom, tobacco, carnation, cloves, rose, nutmeg, lavender, jasmine, leather, patchouli, oakmoss, benzoin, amber, cypress and tonka bean. Treat yourself because you deserve it!

Wonderful smell
The smell is wonderful but the bottle came cracked and a lot of the product had spilled out. Thank you for replacing the item with another bottle.

Tobacco note
Unfortunately, I cannot find anything pleasant in the Maja scent. I ordered the shower gel, lotion, and powder because of the enthusiastic reviews. Each product smells slightly different from the another two but ultimately they all smell like cheap menâs cologne to me. Maybe it is the tobacco note, I am not sure, but I am returning everything.

Jag beställde 4 st och fick orderbekräftelse på det men ni skickade en styck. Sedan säger ni att ni inte hade flera,än att jag ville vänta på att ni skulle få hem flera så sände ni tillbaka 3/4 av ordersumman. Det stora felet var att ni troligtvis hade satt fel pris från början och inte stod vid erat fel från början men skyller på att ni inte skulle fortsätta med den varan. Men den fanns senare med ett betydligt dyrare pris. Så för att ni inte skall förlora ca 150 kr på erat fel så ljuger ni och förlorar en kund för all framtid.Mvh. Kjell Adolfsson.
