   Good design. Minor issues.
   The parts and design are good quality overall. The screws for the hinge mounts are a tad thin in my opinion and are unquestionably the toughest part of the grill to assemble without an extra pair of hands, but otherwise everything is quite nice and adequately built. The starter button works every single time after I made sure to press the connection between the button and the ignitor in all the way. I do have an issue with the warming rack having a missing “spoke”. I will include a picture of that later. The main cooking grates are pretty thin. I would happily pay extra for some nice coated cast iron. The cooking surface is quite large for a tabletop grill. The legs hold the grill very steady on a flat surface. It’s a very impressive design.Some previous reviews mention missing “wheels” that help the legs unfold, but no such part exists. There are no “wheels” in this design. There are bent spring washers required for the tension aspect of the mount to keep the leg mounts feeling solid as the legs are unfolded and folded back and will wear over time. Maybe that is what the reviewer was talking about. I had all those bent spring washers that I needed and was only missing a single flat washer (I simply made up for that by using one less flat washer in a much less critical area) I am very satisfied with the number of parts received and had no extra parts left over at all.The assembly requirement is extensive, but the instructions were very good in my opinion and I completed it in about an hour at a very leisurely pace. I am very mechanically inclined and typically have no issues assembling things, but this grill does not require a degree in mechanical engineering to assemble. Just a little patience, a pair of pliers and a couple of phillips screwdrivers are all you need. You have to be careful to not over-tighten a couple of screws that are threaded directly into sheet metal instead of with nuts to hold them in place. Just a little common sense is required.First use, it was a very windy and cold night to be using a grill, but it performed admirably. It takes a bit longer to cook steaks in this grill than it would in a larger grill with more heated mass (aka cast iron grates), but it did make great steaks. My girlfriend proclaimed it was the best steak she has ever had. Heat seemed to be pretty even, but the steaks were in the center of the grill. The ribeyes had a lot of flare-ups, but nothing too severe and that cut always seems to have flare-ups regardless of what kind of grill you cook them in. Dropped the temp to low to keep things from getting out of control and the added heat from the flare-ups kept the grill running pretty hot (I like to run a very hot grill). The grill does seem to run quite a bit hotter at the front and back edges of the grill. You have to rotate your food a bit using this grill. It’s not the end of the world, but it’s annoying and requires more of your attention and time to cook well with this grill. The heat deflector seems to be just a tad too effective. Think I will take a drill and pop some holes in that bad boy to make the heat a bit more even.I recommend this grill. There is a lot of value for the money here and it works like a champ. I am happy with my purchase despite the missing spoke on the warmer and the uneven heat.

   Nice. Nothing fancy. Not too heavy. Works well for me.
   Fairly easy to assemble with a Phillips screwdriver and a pair of pliers. Heats up quickly. The drip pan is kinda lame if you do a lot of burgers. It’s not big enough to catch a lot of dripping grease. Given that I only cook chicken and dogs, it won’t be a problem for me. Would be nice if the hose and starter button could be on either the right or left side, but given its price, understandable that it’s made to be only on one side. Like that it has clips to keep it closed. Easy to read thermometer. Overall, nothing fancy, but so far it appears to be good for me. I like it.

   Megamaster Grill works great with lots of grill area
   Saturday we used this for the first time, grilling lamb chops, tenderloin steaks AKA Filet Mignon, chicken wings and corn on the cob. My wife was the cook. It was the first time also that we used a grill mat, which should save a lot of cleaning of the grill itself.The food came out in a timely fashion and was cooked to perfection. Using the grill mat saved me from having to do that scrubbing with the scraper and stainless steel brush, which I appreciate! The Megamaster grill has a user-friendly drip tray to collect and remove grease from below the bottom.The Piezo lighter and the thermostat worked fine. The grill heated up really quickly in less than ten minutes.I’ll be happy to carry this to the beach. It’s a good size for a regular size person to carry.The picture shows some parts that arrived really scratched. We decided to keep it in spite of the disfiguration.My wife, who is very good assembling big Ikea beds and chests of drawers, was ready to send this back rather than to go through the many assembly steps. I’m more patient and methodical. We looked at more purchase options over a couple of days and evenings and decided to keep the Megamaster. It took me an hour and twenty five minutes, trying to go fast, but hindered by very poor circulation in my fingers, which were freezing. After one hour I noted the time and took a break to warm them. then I “started the time” again and finished. It’s not difficult. There are no verbal instructions, but you can figure out the pictures.Now we want to buy a grill cover for it, being apartment dwellers with limited storage. There’s no such thing. We found a cream colored and tan grill cover that is big enough (too big) and is the right shape (a rectangle). But my wife prefers that we buy a heavy duty tarp and wrap it with bungee cords.All things considered, I’m happy with the purchase. You can see that the seller and manufacturer are responsive on Amazon. Too bad about the scratches, but no big deal. I really couldn’t face replacing all of the packing and sending it back. The ugly scratches just took the joy out of the experience. Would I buy it again? Yes. It’s a really nice grill, scratches and all. It’s a good value for the price. It exactly fits our needs.

   Perfect size
   I had a hard time finding s small grill without a big price. It’s perfect in size. It’s me/husband at home, but when my son’s family comes, that’s an extra 3 people. There was plenty of room to cook enough for everyone. The cleaning is easy & grill is good quality. Highly recommend buying this

   This propane BBQ does not grill well. It bakes more than it grills. If you want food to grill, you have to place the food around the edges where the flame is hottest. Otherwise, it’s a nice unit and the company has great customer service.
