   Good boots
   I wanted to give these a 10 for comfort as soon as I put them on my feet! I held off though so I could give them a couple of weeks for trying out before I rated them. The boots seem to be well made as far as stitching and gluing go.The boots are on the wide side but not overly so. Otherwise true to size.When you first put boots on, unkace them then put the boots on. Then zip them up and then tighten your laces. I went easy on the top two eye hooks because many people say they break off the boot I have not had any trouble with them. Once i had my boots laced up and nice and snug, I was able to take them off and put them on easily with just unzipping and zipping. I do not have to undo the laces. The boots are extremely comfortable!

   Excellent boots, very comfortable, but be careful with size
   I have had these Merrill MOAB 3 boots for two weeks, and after putting several miles on them I must say that they are about the most comfortable boots for walking, both on pavement and in the woods, I have ever owned. They are light, soft stepping, stable and supportive, and are claimed to be waterproof (though I have not yet tested them for that). I purchased them for outdoor activities that involve lots of walking and standing, occasionally on wet and soggy ground, and I am confident they will serve well in that use. That said, I do have two observations:This is actually my second pair as the first pair I received were far too large. I have several pair of perfectly fitting Merrell walking shoes in size 9W, so that is what I ordered with these Merrell boots. They turned out to be far too large, with more than an inch of extra room in the toe, and too much room on the sides. The good news is that Amazon makes the exchange easy, and three days later I received a pair in size 8 ½ W. These are also just a little too large, and an 8 Wide or Regular would probably be better, but I’m trying to make do with thicker socks. Still this variance in sizing from the same manufacturer was surprising.The product information seems to infer that, with a side zipper, they can be put on and removed without having to deal with the laces. I found this to not be the case. They can be removed by opening the zipper, but if they’re laced tight enough to fit properly, there is no way I can get my feet into them with the zipper open. What I found is that if I leave the zipper open, tighten the laces as with any other boots, and then pull up the zipper, I get a good, snug and supportive fit around the ankle.

   Fantastic boots
   These are some of the best boots I have ever had. I love the zipper. I wish more boots had zippers. They are very comfortable. They are somewhat breathable but still waterproof. I wish they made the shorter version with a zipper. I would buy them too. I saw some complaints about durability but I think they are very well made. They only part I am at all concerned with is the loop on the back but I have been wearing them every day for 2 weeks and they are just fine.

   Quality control issues. NOT waterproof.
   Had to exchange the first pair I received, due to a rivet breaking. I’ve had this pair for one year.First, the good; they are very comfortable, almost running-shoe comfortable. Unfortunately, that is the only good thing I can say.The bad; First, as above, rivets should not snap off brand-new boots. Second, these boots are not waterproof, despite being labeled as such. On my first creek crossing with them, they leaked where the sole joins the upper. Badly.Third, though this is minor, be aware that the top of the toe, and the sides of these boots are constructed more like running shoes than boots, which means your foot is less protected than in more ‘conventional’ boots.Overall, I am unhappy with these boots, and I will not be buying Merrell again.

   Not comfortable at all
   I love the look of the boots and my other boots from the brand are super comfy. These were just so painful to walk in I had to return them. Very sad, I was so excited to get them.

   Great boots. Cheap laces.
   Love these boots and the aggressive sole. But the laces didn’t last like the last pair I owned. These fell apart in no time. Recommend buying a replacement to change out these for better ones.

   Overall high quality boot, might’ve gotten a bad pair.
   Firstly, I bought a used pair, they arrived in perfect order except for one missing eyelet which I received a refund for. Besides that, they seemed to be never worn.In my few weeks of use I noticed a few quality control issues. The leatherwork around the zippers is uneven (pictures 3 &4), which does not effect functionality but could be emblematic of further qc issues. The glue adhesion on the sole of the right boot has also come loose, but that is an easy fix. For the price I would generally not expect these problems.Fit and comfort are great, I work 8-12 hours a day, mostly standing and walking and these have been great. The waterproofing is adequate as of yet, holding up to light Oregon rain. I wear them commuting on my motorcycle, which I can attest is a good measure of durability. The zipper is clean and does not stick, the laces are adequate.Overall they are comfortable, but the few issues in the early weeks of my ownership was unexpected. I’ve owned merrils in the past, and they have a good reputation for a reason.

   Nice fit and wears well
   They are Merrells and to me that means quality. (that being said I did have to return a pair once for material failure – a shoestring eyelet came off)The are well made and fit my feet very comfortably.They are light for boots, they are not the lightest I have worn but for their durability and purpose they are lightweight.I can not attest to their waterproofness as I have not had them on the trail yet. They look and feel like they will shed water very well but I would not think that I could walk in water and not have my socks dry for long. I have walked through wet grass an tall weeds and my feet have stayed dry.

   It’s so comfortable and lightweight I used it for hunting and Rucking a lot my feet doesn’t hurt and no blisters pretty good try it for yourself.👍👍

    Cumplen mis expectativas, lindas, ergonómicas y aíslan la temperatura baja. Las uso con calcetines térmicos y las siento livianas. Con leggins o con pantalones cargo se ven bellas. Una excelente compra.

    They are extremely comfortable, quality of the boot appears amazing and they are very nice and wide! They feel more like a sneaker as they are so very light and you cannot feel the cold snow or ice through these boot so they are great as a winter boot! Highly recommend these boots

    El número es amplio, lo cual es perfecto para llevar calcetas de invierno. Son muy calientes, ideales para un ambiente frío. Muy resistentes pero increíblemente cómodas. Las uso para caminos muy técnicos y no han tenido ningún problema.
