   15-20 mmHg for Everyday Use / Not Best for Airplane Use
   These are best used for everyday wear, or sports use. I prefer, and I think most people would prefer, to use the 20-30 mmHg Ted Hose for long plane rides. I have tried using this strength of compression on a plane and my feet swelled horribly. You need more compression for planes, I believe. But these are great for house wear. I swell when I eat gluten and after days of eating gluten, my legs can be so large, including my knees. I thought I would try these, which go over the knees and they do provide a bit of compression at the knee to keep my knees from swelling so big. As well, the looser compression makes these easy to get on and off, as compared to the 20-30 mmHg ones. You won’t struggle like you do putting the tighter compression ones on.The “inspection toe hole” is a great touch for those that are in nursing homes or bedridden. Its a way to allow the doctor to inspect diabetic’s toes and feet without taking off the entire hose. As for me… I just shimmy the hole right on the ball of the foot and it really isn’t bothersome in my shoe. Lets air in, which is nice!The size chart is correct in getting me the size I needed. The wide upper elastic is heavy duty and has silicone dots to keep it in place. Stays up perfectly for me. Do wash before wearing as they smell strongly of chemicals, which i believe comes from the plastic bag they are sealed in.My only complaint: The blue stripe at the ankle. The blue stripe screams “Patient wearing medical hose!” instead of looking like a normal white sock or tights. The stripe does show when I sit down and my pants rise up at the ankle. Each size has a different color stripe, to keep them separate from other patient’s, I guess! You’d still have the colored stripe at the inspection hole, so no need for the ankle stripe.Also, these would make a great “layering” piece to take on a cold-weather vacation. Nothing bulky at the waist, since they are only thigh-high. All in all, very nicely made.

   Easy to put on and remove, comfortable, like the inspection hole in the foot
   These MGANG Ted 15-20mmHg Graduated Thigh High Anti Embolism Compression Support Stockings with inspect toe hole are easy to get on and off and are a thicker material than I am used to.I rarely wear compression socks/stockings. For the most part I only wear them post sclerotherapy treatments for a few weeks, as per my Dr’s instructions. Over the years I have tried my fair share of compression socks/stockings and have never had much luck. I find them binding, uncomfortable and they rip in a short period of time.These stockings are easy put on and remove, are comfortable to wear and the legs do I not feel that they are binding, which I always feel with compression. The material is thicker than other compression stocking that I have tried.The 1.75 silicone band at the top of the stockings keeps the stockings from slipping. I have always had issues with compression that goes to the top of the thigh as it digs into my chunky thighs.. 😂 As a result I wear them a bit lower than I have them on in my picture. They still stay up and they are more comfortable.I like the inspection hole at the bottom of the foot. I do not like footed stockings as I find they usually rip quickly at the toe. I will not have to worry about that with these.In regards to sizing, my measurements are 9 ankle, 13.5 calf and 19 thigh. I fell between a size medium and a size large. I would usually go with a size large since I do not like the feel of compression but I decided to go with the medium since these will be used post sclerotherapy. The medium fits me well and is comfortable.I am definitely happy with these stockings and will be wearing them for my next procedure in January.

   Fits Some; Not All
   I have problems with swelling in my ankles if I stay on my feet too long or if I am in a hot and humid enviroment. I ordered a pair of Ted Thigh High Stockings, 15-20 mmHg Compression, from MGANG. I am a plus sized person, used the sizing chart, but had to get a larger ankle size than I wear to accommodate the largest size thigh measurement. I ordered Beige 3X and the ankle is too large. The compression is not good in the ankle as a result, but at the thight, the wide silicone thigh band holds the stockings in place and fits better than ankle. Made of special lightweight fabric, the stocking have good air permeability and are breathable, and the compression material minimizes perspiration and moisture. The best feature is the inspection hole located on the front toe part of the stockings. The toe part is not fully opened and there is just a small hole on the bottom of your big toe. This makes it easy for the caretakers to check pulse, skin color and foot temperature, and ensures compression at the same time. The socks could be useful for post-surgical recovery, bedridden patients, long travels, and patients who want help with circulation in their legs. Wearing these stocking after exercise can help relieve numb, aching,swollen ankles, legs and feet. The Ted 15-20 mmHg Compression Thigh High Stockings from MGANG are a good value and I recommend with 5 stars if your measurements can fall within the sizing chart. I don’t recommend this brand or style of stocking for a plus sized person that doesn’t match the chart in ankle, knee, and thigh.
