Description of capabilities is inaccurate
The description of this product states it may be expanded to 27.5 inches. While technically true, expanding it beyond 26 inches causes it to collapse upon itself simply while trying to adjust it and WITHOUT applying any weight. If I only needed a 24 or 25 inches length and width, this product would have garnered at least a 4-star rating, but I need the full (falsely advertised) 27.5 inch capability. I ordered two and if my super glue endeavor fails to secure the first one properly, the second one will be returned. If my washer or dryer is damaged from this pedestal collapsing, I will update this review with details for the class action I pursue for false advertising.Well the gluing attempt proved unsatisfactory. I am returning the other pedestal. See picture–the result with less than 200 pounds on it. Why must people blatantly lie about capabilities?
