If you are having an issue and think your camera is BRICKED READ MY POST!
I wanted to share my experience with everyone because I found nothing on the internet about this but it is clearly a thing. I have bought 10 of these cameras and I could not figure out why 5 of them were all doing the EXACT same thing right out of the box. Little did I know, its probably a software bug and I just didn’t do the same thing when I activated the other 5 cameras. Here is what my problem was…After I purchased the camera plan while adding the camera,**** I chose the option to have Photo+Video.****I then turned the camera on for the first time as the directions said. The camer boots, connects and then takes a software/firmware update. The camera then reboots and connects. The app even shows it checked in perfectly fine. The next thing that happens is the camer goes into useable mode and when it sees movement turns the video on. The IFR lights come on and the green light comes on like its taking a video. The problem is, the video camera never stops and it never uploads the video. It doesnt matter how many times you turn it off and back on, it just continues to happen until the batteries are dead which is very fast considering the camera is permanently on.After a bunch of trial and error i discovered what snaps the camera out of it.1. Turn Camera off.2. Go into the camera settings on the app.3. Change the setting to Photo only. NOT PHOTO+VIDEO4. Turn camera back on.5. Do something in front of the camera and wait for it to show up on the gallery in the app.6. At this point once you have gotten your first photo upload, you can switch it back to PHOTO+VIDEO and BOOM….it works. This solution fixed all 5 of my cameras that I thought were not uploading or bricked.Moultrie, Please research this and share this information with your customers. There is a lot of people saying they had bricked cameras and I bet this is why!Overall, the camera is amazing for its price. I got 6 cameras for the price of 1 of the newer fancy ones. They take great pictures. You just have to request the HD picture or video. They do make a click sound in the dark but i have never once seen an animal spook from it. 5 stars!!!

Exactly as advertised
These things are really cool trail cams. Super simple and straightforward to get setup. It hasn’t been overly motion sensitive. So I’m not getting lots of pictures of the wind blowing vegetation like I have with other cameras with the sensitivity up high. Construction seems solid. The only annoying thing is the photos aren’t giving me a notification when it takes a new one. But that might be an app issue or something with my phone settings. Super cool, simple and definitely a good value for the money. So far it can pick up deer movement accurately at least out like 30 yards.

Great picture clarity..
Put up two of these and they work great. Easy to set up. I used their regular batteries that are holding a 75% charge with mild weather after approximately a months continuous use. I’d recommend studying the settings carefully because they can run through a standard free plan quickly, forcing you to upgrade to a paid plan to utilize the camera. Overall a good value.

Great camera, requires subscription though
Let me start off by saying the camera is great. The battery can last 3-4 weeks with AA batteries. Trigger time is fair, sometimes it can be a bit slow and not get deer until they are in the middle of frame when I would like to see where they are coming from. The app is great. It’s easy to navigate, organize pictures and is reliable. Picture quality is good to great. Without saving the high quality image or video, the quality is not great at all. But if you use one of the 50 video downloads you get a month, the quality is great. The biggest issue I have with the camera is the subscription. plans range from $108 a year, to $272 a year PER CAMERA.I would say that price is worth it to see all the deer I won’t be able to kill, but that may vary from person to person. I didnt do enough research before purchasing and didnt realize the subscription was per camera prior.

Good camera, horrible service
This has been one of the worst companies I’ve ever dealt with. Twice they have double charged my monthly subscription service fee. The first time they promised a refund that never came. Two weeks later I had to have my bank do a charge back after they would not answer emails or chat messages. Just two weeks after that they once again try to double charge my account. Thankfully my bank caught and notified me immediately. Once again no reply to emails or chat attempts. It would be one thing if you could use the camera without the monthly subscription but the new models are sealed and you cannot access the internal sim. Without a subscription the camera is in fact useless. The cheapest plan is 9.99 a month for 1000 pics but I blew through that in 2 weeks. Then it’s an additional $5 for another 500 pictures. $17 gets you unlimited pics and 50 videos, but videos drain the batteries quickly, so then you have to get the solar panel or fork out $20 a month in batteries. In short this camera and service is a money pit. Their customer service is a joke! I’ll be selling this thing immediately.

Great quality for the price
Takes great pictures and video. App is very user friendly. Only down fall is battery life. Recommend buying the rechargeable battery packs. Will buy again in the future.

Purchase as a security camera and works pretty well for that
We purchased this to monitor a storage rental that was broken into. A battery powered cellular device was needed. Maintaining the service is not cheap but peace of mind is worth it. It detects when we visit storage, we have had two motion-detect false alarms in about 10 months (with the low res pictures showing that nothing happened). It also takes and notifies a low res test picture every 24 hours so we know its still working. The downside is you get a very limited number of high res image downloads on the basic plans. You are paying per month to keep it running but unless you pay for the higher priced plans you don’t get those high res pictures in abundance. As such its far better as an alarm than to get usable pictures of any thieves, since they would doubtless break or disable the camera before you could download those high res images. Still useful for the price.

My cell phone works on and off where the camera is with little to no service. The camera has been out for almost 2 months and sending lots of pictures. I had it on upload immediately and I read after that if your service isn’t good it will kill the batteries. 16 batteries dead after a month. I changed it to upload every 6 hours and now it’s still 90% after another month.
