Worth the extra money, so snug, so comfy
This thing HAS to be hand made. It’s sturdy but comfortable and once you have the head Velcro (top Velcro and 2 side Velcros) set, you just take it on and off like a helmet forever using the chin strap. It will fit your head snug, which is crucial if you use it side to side. There’s also a FRONT D-ring that’s not in the picture and perfect for front extensions for those visible T-shirt neck muscle (of you’re into that). I was between this one and a few around $20 and I’m glad I spent the extra 10 bucks. $31 including tax and get very happy. Sometimes you can just see and feel the hard work that went into things. This is one of them. Neoprene padding everywhere so much more comfortable than the machine at the gym.

Everyone should have one!
Overall, 5/5 – it feels sturdy all around, itâs adjustable with plenty of remaining velcro to adjust smaller to accommodate smaller heads than my average female head.Iâm incorporating neck training 1x a week with a 10lb resistance band currently. Iâm not in this to beefcake my neck. My cervical vertebrae are the only ones left in good shape so I want to cherish and protect what Iâve got; additionally, I read about how neck training helped avoid or reduce spinal cord injury severity in others following accidents. It seems like a good idea, period. I do both slow, controlled pulling and isometric holds with gentle resistance in both directions with each D ring, and I quit the set and move on before it feels like >50% effort. I prefer not pushing it past that as a beginner, no neck DOMS pls.The chin velcro is positively deafening when you rip it off from by your ear but I canât bring myself to deduct a star because alternatives wouldnât be as secure, and you certainly donât want fiddly equipment when youâre training your neck. This has been wonderful for helping with my tension headaches as well, just gently moving under light resistance is soothing. This should absolutely be in your gym bag or home gym. Protect yo neck. It gives much less Hannibal Lecter vibes than you expect.

Works as it should!
It works as it should! My only complaint is that sometimes the under neck strap can be itchy but that’s just part of the experience

OUTSTANDING VALUE: High Quality, Excellent Function
This neck harness is a superior tool to add to a martial artist’s or athlete’s tool box, and for quality alone it rates five stars: It’s buff, the hook and loop straps are heavily stitched and very durable, and the harness helps you do every neck and torso exercise you can imagine. If you’re considering this (or a similar harness) you’re probably a boxer or BJJ student like I am, or a wrestler.) If so, it’s smart to look into lateral (side to side/front to back) loading, because our sports demand that our necks stand up to a lot of force they wouldn’t encounter in other pursuits; out necks get enough general strengthening with a regular resistance routine. But getting punched and pulled a lot requires that we incorporate a few specific exercises into our training, and this harness is exactly what you want for this. It’s comfortable, very adjustable, and like I said, strong as you need. You can do a whole range of active neck exercises, as well as a bunch of isometrics, like doing straight-legged deadlifts or abdominal work while wearing this. The Takeaway is that this is a superior product, designed by people who understand these applications. I wouldn’t hesitate to order it, assuming it becomes available again.*Keep your guard up, mates.Z*As of 11/24, this item isn’t available. Shame. Hope it comes back.

Good Fit, Easy To Use
Having a strong neck seems like it would be great. I wouldn’t know. My neck is ordinary. I never exercise it previously. I have become motivated to strengthen my neck.I’ve started out with no harness and no resistance just focusing on isometrics, flexion, extension, and rotation. No weight. No resistance (except isometrics which requires resistance). At the beginning stages of neck training this harness is not required. I’m working my way up to using this neck harness with weights on a regular basis. The harness itself is nice and it’s easy to use. It’s easily adjustable with velcro-like closures, and fits very well as long as it’s adjusted properly. The chin strap helps tighten the whole thing and effectively holds it in place. The harness should be fairly tight from the start. The included weight strap holds a typical weight plate nicely. The rings on the harness can be used as attachment points for resistance bands. This is essential when working out alone without someone pulling on your harness – with a band, a strap, etc. – to help you train. The harness works well either with plates or with resistance bands. At around $30 it’s pretty reasonable considering the quality and the fact that it appears rugged enough to last for years. This has become a permanent addition to our exercise room.

Good workout for recovering from neck injury
I’ve never owned a piece of equipment for strengthening my neck, but this seems to be a good next step for recovering from a car accident injury.I’ve done all of the stuff after a car accident to help my neck/shoulder pain, but after a year of Ortho, pain management, chiro, PT and everything else under the sun, I figured that strengthening might be needed more than stretching.I’ve used it a couple of times and it does seem to be helping with the weak areas in my neck, but obviously I have to take it slow until I get used to it.While I don’t know much about this apparatus, it definitely seems like high quality. Strong Velcro, padding on the inside and nothing feels cheap on it.The only thing I wish it had was a instruction or suggestion/diagram pamphlet…something to show what all I can do or how I should use it. Luckily this product page has some of that here but to make sure, I will be searching online to see if I’m doing everything properly.

The pictures don’t show it, but mine came with an additional D-ring on the front of the harness. Makes it a lot more versatile. This product is very well made. It was way better than what I was expecting, especially for the price.

Heavy duty build and the loops on all sides is helpful
